I found he list of 12 on this PDF file from the USA hockey website..

http://www.usahockey.com/servlets/Fi...lim_roster.pdf

Robbie Schremp isn't on that list

I'd say he's only behind O'Sullivan, Montoya in skill level and Suter due to experience.

Will Schremp be on the final roster? If not it'll make all the London Knights fans including myself very happy to not miss him over christmas.

If he isn't, then their is something seriously wrong with the selection committee.

Schremp and Hennessy should both be locks for this US team.

I would guess this is because of his poor showing at the evaluation camp.

Still, with the year he's having so far... he should be there.

There actually is a chance that Schremp still could be added but I think USA well just ignore his excistance IMO...which is a shame.

Hennessy could/ should also make the team.

I agree. I mean, Ryan Callahan? He's a nice player, but he's no Schremp or Hennessy. On a positive note, at least this shows the U.S's growing depth for tournaments like this.

I think this shows that the American team has not been pleased with his "attitude" in the past/now, and possibly even more important......may have significant depth to overcome the lack of somone who might/might not be a team player while still being a "game-breaker". Either that, or they just simply do not like his game

As much as a like Schremp, it's not like the U.S. is berift of quality offensive players. For example, I can't wait to see Hensick tear it up.

"The ongoing player evaluations and final player selections will be critical for our ultimate team success.''

Schremp will probably be on there.

Ryan Callahan is a really good player. I think he'll play a similar role to what Brady Murray did last season. He's a terrific skater, Callahan will be a really good PK guy if Eaves decides to play him in that situation.

awesome...3 tourneys for Suter

Defenceman Ryan Suter, a first-round draft pick of Nashville, will play in his third world under-20 tournament if the Predators make him available

I agree - I'd love to have Callahan on my team. He always seems to get the job done, no matter what role the coach asks him to play.

Will Corey Schneider be the back up goalie?

That's a fair guess, although I think Mike Brown should get consideration. He's played well for Saginaw this year. It would be nice if Gerald Coleman was considered as well, but he wasn't invited to camp this summer.

I noticed he produced close to a point per game in the playoffs last year to boot.

He's a great little sniper. Kind of like Geoff Sanderson in Columbus.

I just figure they'll want Schneider to get him some experience for next year(In Vancouver ). It's not like the back up will see any playing time anyway as Montoya is awesome and will most likely play every game.

There can't be TWO Mike Brown's on the team

Incidentally...is anyone else surprised by the forward Brown's presence? I always thought he was something of a plugger.

That's a good point, which is why I wouldn't be surprised if Schneider is the back-up.

Yeah, that would be funny. Brown (from Michigan) is a plugger, but since it's a team being created and not an all-star team I'm not surprised he was named. He'll no doubt be counted on as a defensive presence and penalty killer.

re: Schremp

The Article says "The rest of the 22-play lineup will be announced in December." It looks like 11 of the 12 players already named are 19 year olds, and 8 of them are from the team last year. I don't really think its a slight on schremp that he hasn't been named to the roster yet.

True, but you never know with the history between Schremp and Team USA.

Personally, I hope they name him, and I also hope Kessel overcomes his injury problems and is able to play. I'd love to see how he'd do in the tourney.

I think Kessel would have been named already except for his wrist injury. I think they'll wait until the last minute to name him, or his replacement, which IMO could very well be Schremp.

That's a possiblity.

One guy who I don't think will get named is Wheeler. While he showed flashes, he was pretty raw when I saw him at the evaluation camp. I think his time is probably next year.

callahan currently has an 11 game scoring streak...so getting off to a real strong start to his season no doubt helped him here.
