So long as Corvo goes after Turris himself I see no problem. If they send Thorton after Turris, then I have a problem. They are grown men and can settle it themself, they don't need to hide behind enforcers. If anyone but Corvo goes after Turris as redemption, Neil can go and take out their team.

Thornton's a pretty standup guy, I think. I don't think he'd pull a Tie Domi and go after a non-fighter. Turris and Corvo will go early, it'll be a couple of slaps on either side and that will be that.
I can see Matt Carkner dressing again tomorrow though, just in case.
I could see this getting out of hand in the best possible way. Anybody else hoping for a line brawl?
I want to see Lehner fight Thomas.
Though I would trade Thomas for Auld in a fight where both goalies are ejected, I would want Lehner to face Thomas, even though he would likely throttle him. Rask is far better than Auld in the crease right now and at least Lehner can keep us in games if he stays in his crease.
Corvo is setting the bar pretty high for himself. If his position is "you hit me we fight" he'll have to answer the bell against some pretty tough guys on every team. If he only says that when it's a young player then he will look pretty foolish in front of the other players even his own team mates.
What is also great about this team these days is that the whole team really won't shy away from sending a message if the Bruins even try to start intimidating us.
Briere and Turris were smaller talent guys in a real fight! A real fight vs Konopka vs some dumb ass heavyweight in the first period. Briere was fiesty that night and killed us himself... he got what 2 or 3 goals and first star. Turris can fight... if Corvo wants to fight Turris go right ahead. Maybe Turris wins... either way it will light a fire under both teams but probably more the Sens since Corvo is silly in issueing a challenge. Remember how fiesty and competitive Comrie got as a small guy as we went to the final? If Corvo wants to push Turris and get him physically involved I don't mind at all. Maybe we get a possessed Turris.
Corvo is a soft guy with big muscles. Briere is a thin small guy with a heart of fury. Briere brings it in the playoffs, bigger the game bigger he is. If talent guys like Spezza, Briere, Turris get in fights usually it ends up with a talented demon pissed and producing on the ice.
Come on Corvo... Make it happen. Even if Turris loses we probably end up winning in momentum.

The other thing is he has no choice but to fight if he calls Turris out and refuses to fight that would not make him look good in any way.

I dont think Corvo wants to fight him because of just a hit... He ended up leaving his feet(barely) and got him in the head... I see absolutely nothing wrong with Corvo wanting to fight Turris at all... Just go hang on and throw 1-2 punches(konopka style) and its all over... If you refuse to fight then other people will end up getting involved..
joe corvo is a choke! even bruins fan don´t like him!
everyone can fight with corvo! i hope it´s gonna be a good game without injuries !
great hit by neil! i hope he has to drop the cloves today again, but this time not with chara chara throws 2 punches and then he´s on the ice because his ****** balance...

You forgot some key words in there....
Either way, great hit by Neil on Boychuk - nice and clean - just hope that Boychuk recovers fast.
Corvo vs. Turris should be a joke of a slapfest. Regardless, not sure that Ottawa wants to poke the bear.
Definite win for us if the Bruins are running around trying to inflict pain instead of scoring goals and winning. I just hope their team is as butt hurt as the Bruins fans are.
