Perron is on the ice right now. He took a puck up high earlier. In the collar bone area.

Our team is so much more dynamic when we're activating our defense.

They are really missing some opportunities to score the knockout goal. Given Calgary's recent struggles, a three-goal lead pretty much finishes it off. First Sobotka then Backes miss the finish, now have to kill a penalty. Hope they don't let Calgary back in this. Seems like they don't put the boot on the throat when they get two-goal leads this year.

I think we're doing a pretty good job in this game, aside from that *awful* defensive breakdown that led to the first goal.

I don't think that a man Arnott's age really wants to move around constantly, chasing the best paycheck. If we offer him the same money he's making now, I bet you he'd stay.

Sure. He'd obviously like the opportunity to win and he'd take roughly the same deal I strongly suspect.

I think you're right. I would love to have him one more year. I like Langs, but probably won't need him next year.

After this last injury... I think you are right. He will retire and Arnott might stay for one more for similar contract deal.

Arnott tonight. Thumbs up. I'd take him back next year. Not Langenbrunner though.

We've played well tonight and have also missed 2 open nets.

I remember people questioning Arnott's play due to his age before the season started. He has been great this season. He is an ideal 3rd line center.

Calgary's playing terrible more than we're playing good. Don't feel like we're smothering them despite the low shot total. Calgary just doesn't look crisp, or high energy, or dangerous, and the Blues pretty much outhustled them on two power plays and got a ridiculous softie from Kiprusoff. I'm not overly confident if the Flames come out strong and get it to 3-2. If that happens, they'll know they have no right to be in the game but they know they're at home and they're desperate for a playoff spot. The momentum of this game could flip on a dime, as poorly as Calgary is playing. They need to get it to 4-1 and then I think Calgary quits.

I don't know if it's the Blues playing well or the Flames playing poorly, but man Calgary's looked bad tonight

Much more enjoyable 2nd period than the first. Would love to see Arnott get another one. For whatever reason, anytime a Blues player has got a hat trick in the past, I've always missed it.

Weird thing is they had been playing great hockey before the Edmonton blowout. Honestly. I watched a lot of those games and they looked strong. But so much of it depends on Kiprusoff and he's just slumped badly these past few games and the team feeds off him.

Also Cola is made of 8 year old girl.
