For the people who are complaining about this, this is me = to you guys.

Geoffrion is 24, was just acquired and tearing up the AHL while Leblanc is 20 with a lot of development to be done in his game and in his body. It's a no-brainer move. Play Leblanc A LOT, let Geoffrion get a feel of the team.

My lines:

Geoffrion-Plekanec-Gomez (Gionta next season)
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Bourque-Leblanc-Palushaj (Leblanc next season)
Nokalainen (Moen when he's back)-White-Staubitz

Happy to see Geoffrion up. I look forward to seeing what he will bring to the team with his style of play. I'm also happy that Leblanc will be eating up minutes in Hamilton and working more on his game. It was a treat for us to see him with the big club but he still has a bit of work to do with his skating, shot and overall conditioning. Plus, it's time to put on some weight and turn that little boy's body into a man's body.

Is Columbus guaranteed the first pick overall? Or do they just get more lottery balls in the "bag" so they have a greater chance of getting the first pick overall?

More balls. Here are the odds if the draft were to be tonight:

48.2% - Columbus Blue Jackets
18.8% - Edmonton Oilers
14.2% - Montreal Canadiens
10.7% - Carolina Hurricanes
8.1%- New York Islanders

No idea, just spit-balling here

This lineup is worse than I expected.

Best move of today. Too bad they waited until Leblanc lost his rookie eligibility next season.

So, we'll trade him away next season or let him walk when he becomes a UFA.

It's tank-approved, that's for sure! I do feel terrible for Eller, who is more than likely going to end up with the worst set of wingers no matter how the cookie crumbles.

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Bourque - Plekanec - Palushaj
Geoffrion - Eller - White
Noke - Gomez - Staubitz

Hope to see something like this, give Palushaj some minutes with Plekanec and don't put Geoffrion with Gomez since he only makes his linemates look worse.

This team isn't any worse than it was 24 hours ago. Moving a guy who played with Gomez does nothing to hurt us. In fact we will win more games because Geoffrion will work his ass off his first few games to try to impress.

I think so too. He seems to be making the most of this opportunity so far. To me Geoffiron seems genuinely honoured to wear the CH (not that I`m suprised) and I think he will relish his callup time, at least for the first bit.
