We have lost to the Isles twice this year. We have had trouble with their quickness.
Hence, Hamr, Knoobs and Erskine are scratched. It's not complicated.
Just come out firing, boys. First of 5 straight at the VC; NJD lost last night, WPG gave up 4 in the 3rd to EDM to lose, OTT is playing at BOS tonight, FLA @ TOR so one of them will lose... great way to build some momentum in this home stand.
I just ask that they come out looking like they give a ****. Attack and bring the pressure to them, enough of this standing around waiting for something to happen.
With regards to Knuble and Hamrlik... speed kills. Put Knuble in when we're playing Philly, Boston, those type of teams. Aucoin has been playing well. His speed is something that seems to be opening up things for Ovie.
Including tonight, 20 games remain. 11 of them are at home. Probably the two toughest home games will be the two after tonight against the Devils and the Flyers. Other than that all the other home games are either with Divisional teams or teams below us in standings/points. The team for the most part does perform well at the phone booth.
Remaining road games are an entirely different story. Not going to be easy with two games against Boston, game against Detroit, Chicago, New York Rangers and Philadelphia plus one in Winnipeg as well. Probably the easiest of the games might be the one in TB.
Winning home games will be a must for this team in order to make the playoffs.
The Caps were the first team in the conference to get to 20 home wins (joined in the last few games by the Rangers and Pens). So they should be able to hold serve at home.
Patience please..Inferior T-850 models being reprogrammed to the Shultz Terminator T-101
You can spot the 850's easily - rubber skin. The T-101 machines employ a "liquid metal" mimetic poly-alloy that allows them to quickly shapeshift to achieve near-perfect mimicry and also rapidly recover from damage. And form knives, and stabbing weapons.
I prefer to name his class the T9. As in predictive text.
Or, I heard in his benchmark testing, that he did qualify to be considered in the rare T Fiddy Class as well.
Winnipeg with 17 games remaining, 8 of which are at home. The home games include a game against each divisional rival (to include the Caps of course) and the Rangers and Ottawa. Away games include Vancouver, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Washington.
Florida with 21 games remaining, 10 of which are at home. Next 6 games are going to be tough for them. At the Leafs tonight, then they travel to Winnipeg, two home games against Nashville and Ottawa and then on the road against Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
