This has become a trend which has certainly not gone unnoticed by me or any of the posters here. It's bad enough that I think a statement needs to be made about it, so that's what I'm going to do.
The personal attacks over disagreement of opinion need to stop.

You guys may not like what others have to say, but there are other ways to handle it. You can put the poster on ignore, ignore the threads you don't like, etc. But the attacks against each other will stop. If someone's attacking you, send in a report, don't partake and drag the conversation down to an irredeemable point.
We can go past warnings or infractions to removing posters from topics or even the LA board as a whole for a period of time, but in the end this is going to be a place where people discuss hockey without attacking each other on a personal level.
