Wow, some Jets fans are so resentful and bitter. Was this what it was like in the 80's?

yeah he was decent, oilers radio will now spin this as having two quality RHD in the top 4, allowing us to downgrade gilbert to another D.

Smid and Petry punished the hell out of Kane and Wheeler, love to see that. Both played great.

Time to put Hopkins on the 1st PP unit and move Gagner back to the 2nd unit.

Thought Dubnyk played a good game. The last goal was not a weak goal. It was a open screened shot from the slot. He then followed it with two big saves. Not every goal against has to be a perfect snipe or 2 on 1 goal.

I thought he was good for the most part, but I couldn't see the end of the game (right before the Hall goal)...

I want Burmistrov on this team. Best player on the ice tonight along with Smid and Enstrom in my opinion.

The bobble at the end was the worst one I've seen from him. That was such a basic play. He's forgotten how to take a pass.

I really think this team needs someone like Horcoff.

They just need them at like 2 million a year.

So, anyone still think that this team is a lock to finish no better than 29th?

At this rate, they might even slip out of the top 5. Unlikely, but you never know if they can stay healthy to close out the season.

Chicago has "Captain Serious"
The oilers have "Captain you can't be serious"

Petrell looks like ron Weasley.

haha, as I understand, Schultz plays RD, so Potter is a solidified 5-6 RD. I'm OK with that, despite much of HFOil thinks we need an all-star there or something.

No. Back in the 80's the Oilers would have won 9-3.

He made a good play on Eberle's goal.

I'm still not exactly thrilled with his play as of late though.

A lot of teams fans are finding out what the oilers are like on a decent night. Before the games they just see the record and think they should whitewash us.

They already got him, remember Belanger?

I think two defensively responsible centers who can't score their way out of a wet paper bag is enough for now.

If I am the coaches, i make Horcoff catch 100 passes per practice.

Has anyone congratulated Dubnyk on picking up his first NHL point yet?

Someone get him that puck!

I would be surprised if they did not move up 1 or 2 spots.

Good win tonight, being able to explode is something that makes a guy feel good as a fan.
