Actually, is there a rule against the coach playing?
I'm guessing he couldnt do that without a player contract and being on the official roster for tonights game, so... yeah.

Were not playing against Chicago, and we dont have Lats in the lineup. Not bloody likely.

Outside of the muffed pass that led to a goal, Scandella looked good. Veilleux hasn't been anything to complain about either. Spurgeon has been at least mostly good.

Let's sign him tomorrow so he can player-coach in Montreal. Not like they're gonna be less terrible by Thursday.

Well, the GF just got home and she brought dinner, so I'm gonna go eat that. May or may not be back for the third.

Hopefully L.A. watched video of when we got blown out by the Blues. Physicality during the 3rd will be met with swift cross-checks to the head!

oddly enough one of the only guys who wouldn't be affected at all by the Schultz trade emotionally.

That's only happening if Backstrom strangles a D-man/Christensen for leaving him out to dry 97 times.

I don't care how much you get left out to dry. 4 goals on 13 shots isn't acceptable.

It's not, but one was a fluke goal, and another was a backdoor where he wasn't the guy that blew it.

Still, 2 goals on 11 shots isn't great.

This hasn't could really use that first pass and .03 points per game of nick schultz.

Honestly the team gave up three months ago. Nothing changed overnight.

It was about a 9.3 on the Stefan Scale.

So we're winning the draft lotto now?

If we have a top 5 pick (which is a huge stretch, Columbus and Edmonton have 1/2, Montreal, Carolina, and NYI are gunning hard for 3-5). We'll be grabbing a Dumba, Trouba, Murray, or Rielly and not looking back (assuming it's not 1/2).

I'm thoroughly disappointed in gilberts ability to learn and execute yeos system in 24 hours.

Seriously though, palmieri is the only good thing.
