Don't think so.

It'd be really hard to get it if you ask me. It's highly unlikely.

So we have to play essentially perfect to get to the playoffs, and now we have to lose every game to get a lottery pick.

I hate this team.

They would literally have to lose the last 19 and columbus win several games.

not much to say for that one. Palmeiri looked good for a couple periods.

We only need a top-5 pick to draft a real difference-maker. That's entirely possible.

Try pick one that will have Cuma or Genoway playing.

I hope so. The only thing I enjoyed tonight was Palmieri. I hope seeing Zucker will make the games worth watching.

Edmonton fans are laughing their ***** off that we traded for both Foster and Gilbarf in the last week.

Even with us icing a JV High School defense, and the fact that the Oilers have like 5 top five picks on their lineup. We still have 9 more points than them.

1. Yakupov
2. Grigorenko
3. Murray
4. Dumba

So, two of Galchenyuk, Trouba, and Rielly will slip out of the top 5. If you think Forsberg and Ceci are difference makers, you can get them at least up until 9.

AAAARGH. They win games against teams who have next to no impact on their playoff chances, and then completely crap the bed against the very teams they're trying to pass. WHY!?

So. Frustrating.

I assume we'll be picking around 10th. He's the only top-10 caliber guy who might be available to us at that point. I'm really really high on Rielly (as high as tyratoku is on Trouba), but I don't think there's any chance we get him.

From what I've seen, they're pretty sympathetic.

Still, Gilbert was only -1 on the night.

Guys, our first line is Brodziak, Setoguchi, and Heatley. Our second line is Cullen, Clutterbuck, and Palmeri. That is the WORST top-6 in the entire NHL.

That coupled with a blueline that is reeling from losing their leader and you have a very, very bad game.

We aren't making the playoffs. Oh well. I still think we can be very, very good in a short while.

Hopefully this team comes out with an effort like tonight in every game the rest of the season. I want losses and plenty of them. No use trying to win. This game completely sealed off any remaining playoff hopes I had for this season.

#1 overall is still very much alive if the Wild keep sliding and the lottery luck shines.

Not really.

There are too many teams way behind the Wild right now. Like I said, it's highly unlikely.

Also, I doubt the Wild would get a good lottery luck.

Well, I just hope Granlund next year can make this team fun to watch.

Said it before and I'll say it again. Even when winning ,we are the most boring team in the league.

As if we would ever win the lottery.

Even if we somehow got in the #1 position we would not end up with the #1 pick. Minnesota Sports Teams dont get those kind of bounces.
