2012 Entry Draft: Top 10 Montreal Canadiens Wish List (Poll #7)

We can very much assume that the 2011-2012 edition of the Montreal Canadien will finish in the bottom third of the NHL standing. With that in mind, what would be the top 10 players from the 2012 Entry Draft that the Habs should be targeting as their first selection? To reformulate the question: in order, what is the 10 players the fans on this board want to see wear the Canadiens jersey in the future.

In a series of 10 consecutive poll, ten players will be up for voting each round. The first ten players up for voting will be taken from the latest International Scouting Service list. You will be invited to nominate a player to be add in each rounds.

The poll should last between 24-48 hours and will be close automatically. In case of a tie, a poll between the best nominees will be add. In case of a tie for the player to add onto the list, the first one to receive the tying amount of vote will be the winner.

won't draft that low
care lvl of these propects is -1000
But seriously if the 4 forwards are gone when we draft, it will be wiser to draft a Dman.

Looks good a top 5 pick for the habs

My picks would be in this order:

#1 - Nail Yakupov
#2 - Alex Galchenyuk
#3 - Mikhail Grigorenko
#4 - Filip Forsberg

The reason I would pick Alex over Mikhail is because all the reading I've done about him indicate that he has excellent work ethics on and off the ice. He is very passionate about hockey and is personal development which for Mikhail that is in question.

here are some links that speak about him(including comments from Larionov):

http://www.allhabs.net/canadiens-pro...ex-galchenyuk/
http://thehockeywriters.com/nail-yakupov-profile/ (Larianov Comments)

What I would also consider if I was the Habs GM.....I would evaluate Jonathan Huberdeau to both Alex & Mikhail and if you would be the better chose for the habs I would make a trade with Florida to get him.

sorry wrong thread
