I'm pretty sure Gewawd played his entire career with Detroit, minus...I think there was one year in Tampa at the end. I seem to remember he and Denis Savard playing out the end of their careers together there.

If you read Phil Esposito's book, he still seemed bitter over Tampa's expansion draft compared to the next year.

One of the greatest things that Schottenstein's department stores ever did was acquire an enormous shipment of mid-1990s hockey cards. From the one on E. Main St., I think I got about 10 boxes of 1993-94 Parkhurst and 1993-94 and 1994-95 Upper Deck for less than $50 total. Ask me what I ate for breakfast today and I don't remember, but ask me which Dallas Star was seen being hoisted into the air by two Blues on his 1993-94 UD Series 2 card, and I can say "Mike Craig" without batting an eye.

Yeah, but this guy had more points a year later for the Goaldiggers. Even had a bobblehead made of him for his trouble:

Of course, Howson is only slightly worse as a GM than this former Goaldigger:

Pfft, Noel had 11 extra games to work with. Howson missed out on those because he spent time in the old CHL.

Yeah, but Claude was likely on, um, "herbal" pain remedies.

Advantage: Noel.

I didn't know that anything that mild was actually tolerated in Toledo.

Wait a minute, did you just say that Howson is worse than Don Waddell? Who's been hitting the herbal remedies now?
