Lol at Urush*tani's name getting autocensored

Main event is a tough one to call, I think Kampmann is a better all-around fighter than Alves is but he really doesn't deal well with getting hit and Alves is the hardest-hitting guy he's fought since, well, Paul Daley -- and we all saw how that turned out. Arguably he lost the Sanchez fight as well because he got flustered by Diego's aggressiveness in the later rounds, though the judging in that one was a little questionable.

I"m with you CK, it's very hard to call. I've been flip flopping, I ended up going with the more polished striker. If the hitman can stick and move and stay out of range he should be able to out point Alves for 3 rounds.

Kampmann has always struggled with big, physical guys, both at 185 or 170 lbs. A guy in Alves who is one of the biggest in the division will likely overwhelm him and may even be able to finish him.

Alves also didn't look so hot in his last fight against that Swedish guy, who wasn't half the striker Kampmann is. This fight could go either way.

He finished the fight in 3 minutes, that's not good enough?

Alves' only losses in the last 7 years have been to wrestlers, which Kampmann isn't. Kampmann has proven to have trouble against bigger guys, which Alves is.

I'm sure the odds are close and its 50/50 everywhere, but I really like Alves here.

I definitely remember Alves being in trouble early in that fight.

I think Kampmann is better standing up or on the ground. Alves needs to show some consistency before I start having faith in him again.

Ya, I feel the same way. The hitman has also looked very good lately, even in defeat (some questionable decisions).
