This fight should be NUTS

Wow. So apparently not a single judge gave the fight to McCall. Unbelievable.
Simply laughable. No words.

That picture was three hours after the weigh in as well, it's entirely conceivable that he weighs even more now.

He's probably walking around 205 right now. Kampmann is a big welterweight. Pitbull is a MONSTROUS welterweight.

Alves is dead to me. No finishing power anymore. Ridiculous that he lost that fight. Tapped so ****ing quick, too. Fight that **** till the end in a fight you dominated, idiot. Pass out if you have to. I've been choked out and it sucks, but God damn. Main event and you tap real quick without risking a limb or anything.

Seemed like Alves tapped quick there. Definitely gave that fight away, he could have had a staring contest for the last minute and won the decision.

Did Kampmann really ask for a title fight after that performance?

Real quick. So lame to ****ing tap to a choke like that without even FIGHTING it. Come on. Like I said -- I've been choked out. It sucks. You feel awful when you wake up. But why the **** would you give the fight away like that?

In fairness a mounted guillotine puts a lot of pressure on your trachea as well -- it's not like a triangle or a properly applied RNC where you'll just go out, there's a fair amount of pain involved as well. I don't really fault Alves for tapping but you can definitely fault him for freezing up and not trying to escape by pushing the hips away or even rolling into guard to buy some time.

Also there was literally no reason for him to shoot a takedown there, I guess he was trying to put a final stamp on the fight but he was already clearly winning and he should have known that the guillotine is basically Kampmann's go-to submission.

That's why I love watching Kampmann fight!

Moronic fight IQ.

Sad. He's not even 30 and he's basically done as a contender.

Not at all. Submissions that involve a trachea crush is extremely painful and any normal person will tap instantly. My jiu jitsu instructor just did a demo on the difference between attacking the carotid arteries vs attacking the trachea. No one could last more than a second when someone applied a proper trachea crushing technique. There is no mind over matter with that ****

Demetrious outlanded him in rounds 1 and 2 including significant strikes, and even before seeing the stats that's how I felt about it. Obviously McCall had the most decisive round, but to call this a robbery, especially given the scoring system is over the top.
