Getting back in the swing of things

I played Juniors last year and have played hockey since I was 3. This year is the first year that I have not played hockey. Since the end of last year, I started smoking and got out of shape. Now I am quitting smoking and plan on playing for my university next season. I just bought 2 new sticks and I have a pair of U+ skates that I have yet to break in and use. I plan on getting back on the ice sometime this week seeing as I have not skated in like 4 months. I am not too concerned that I have lost my skills, but rather my breathing since I have been smoking

This thread is for all us washed up superstars coming out of retirement . Tell me your Stories HF!
