Rumor Petri Vehanen (KHL, Ak Bars Kazan) to NHL for 2012-2013?

I don't see what's the big deal with him wanting a one-way deal. If anyone sings him it will be only for one year so you don't really lose anything.

Unless Bob or Bryz is traded I see no reason for them to go after him. There isn't a major reason to trade Bob as he is still on his ELC and if the cap cushion returns his cap hit is only .9 mil. Bryzgalov has not been great this season, but it would reflect badly on the organization to get rid of him one season after signing him for 9 seasons, especially after trading Richards and Carter. Furthermore Bryz's cap hit tied to his performance would make it hard to trade him, and Bryz has a NMC.

In addition the Flyers are in all likelihood going to bring Niko Hovinen over from Finland next season to play in the AHL.
