Hartley could not find another job in the NHL. He did great in the AHL, won a Stanley Cup on auto-pilot with a stacked team, shaped by Crawford and Lacroix. He made the payoffs with Atlanta, but wore out his welcome very fast.
He has been passed over by many teams.
Brisebois was a very good #3d, who was played as a #1. He had a good NHL career. He was never a physical player, and was not the type to stand up for his team mates.
Both of them are caught up in the hype of a meaningless series of games staged for reality TV.
