Toronto and Washington have fallen so far that Tampa Bay (currently tied 1-1) will only be a point and three points (respectively) behind each team if they win, despite the fact that they recently traded away several veteran players for draft picks.
Like most fans, I relish in the struggles of the Maple Leafs. Sorry, but missing the playoffs for the umpteenth time in a row couldn't happen to a more smug fan base.
And, as I will say with a touch of sarcasm, it looks cloudy as to whether the Washington Capitals will both win the Stanley Cup and draft Nail Yakupov.

Well, looks like Los Angeles will not be losing tonight. This will probably be the beginning of their run. Sigh

We control our own destiny against them. We have more ROW. Just gotta keep winning and hope Dallas, SJ, Phoenix, or Chicago come down a bit.

So they are without Lidstrom, Quincy, Datsyuk, and Ericsson? Nice
Hope they fall to 4th.

I have a really good feeling about making the playoffs. I don't want to look past the CBJ game but I assume we'll win that game... If we can beat PIT i'll start to feel VERY good about our chances.

Jack Johnson was a -3 Tonight
He is now a -94 on his career. He has 124 career points so that means he has been on the ice for at most 218 goals in 345 games... or averaging 0.63 against a game while he is on the ice...

Lower-body injury. Couture got hit pounded a handful of times in the last game, and is out with what is possibly an ankle sprain.
(Unless this is a facetious conversation about Galiardi...in which case ignore me.)

Same here. I was like, "wait, why is Gali not playing?"
Anyway, clearly mourning taking place.
