No he's always faded to black once Sid came back.

They'll probably keep Neal with Malkin this time around, so he'll be fine. Previously they haven't had quality wingers for even one of their centers.

Yup! Those are the only two games that matter for the Avs playoffs hopes today.

I would also like to see the Leafs win because I want the Caps to miss the playoffs.

Some Caps fans were pretty bad but it was more the media and fans of other teams. The media was calling McPhee a genius and naming him executive of the year in the offseason after he traded Varly for a 1st and then signed Vokoun for $1.5M. Then you had the fans of other teams saying this is terrible for the league because the Caps are going to add Yakupov to a group of forwards that includes Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin, Kuznetsov, etc. I even remember Leafs fans talking ****

Seeing them miss the playoffs would be great.

The caps are broken. I really don't know why, they have a ton of talent, they just can't put it together. if Q gets axed in Chicago, he would be the ideal guy for Washington

Massive hole in the #2 center spot, Backstrom is injured for most of the season, complete lack of scoring from their bottom 6, Green was out for a big chunk of the season, suspect defense and goaltending etc.

The wild flames game may be the most boring game I've watched since the devils/buffalo games pre lockout.

Flames make it 2-0.

This one is done.

edit: Wild tie it up 3 minutes later.

2-2 now.

Kings take an early lead, defense optional early in this game on both sides

Can't believe the flames are likely to take 8th place tonight.

How do they keep hanging around? They don't even have an NHL squad anymore.

They get so much crap every year because they refuse to rebuild but have to say it's impressive how they challenge for a playoff spot every year anyway.

Lol Chico just compared Giroux to Sakic in terms of leadership.

Kovy on pace for 90 points. Too bad he can never adjust to being a team player... because he's russian.

I miss Joe Sakic. Just watched Game 3 against the Nucks in 2001 that I had recorded VHS baby. Theres seriously knowone currently in the league that skates and moves like Joe he was one of a kind.

It's common knowledge that there's at least 2 sakic's in every draft.

Kovy adds another 1, 3 points tonight. 9th consecutive 30 goal season and 1 away from 400 in his career.

When did this "team at center ice salute the crowd" nonsense start in the league? Would be cool if one team did it, and that was their thing, but why do a bunch of teams do it, and more importantly why does Colorado have to be a follower and do it too?

The rangers started last year or the year before. I still think it's pretty cool tho overdone.
