He was okay. No stupid mistakes. One-timed one shot into Thomas' head.

Could stand to move the puck faster in his own zone, but that might just be communication with new teammates.

He's a big, mobile defenseman with a pretty solid shot. Played pretty safe I think.

That Turris hit on Corvo on Saturday, totally changed the tide of tonights game. The Bruins had no focus...at least not on the things they needed to do to win the game.

Anderson's injury, has focused this team!!!

What a night!

As good as this season has been, we may have just turned a couple corners...for the better.
Great post! I completely agree.

I don't think I've ever seen you be so positive.

Loved Alfie/Karlsson sticking up for Lehner but I think Marchand should worry more about pissing off the young Swede in the net. Would love to see someone try to pester him in the playoffs only to get knocked on their ass.
Marchand crosschecked Karlsson facing his goalie under the pads in the kidneys actually. He was not going after Lehner.

Have a midterm tomorrow so I missed the entire game. So proud of this team...man!

Btw has there ever been as many people on the Ottawa forum this season at one time? (500+ right now).

Then Alfie smacked him on his abnormally large and ugly nose/face.

He'll need quite a bit of hardware to beat Hasek, Chara and Alfredsson.

Far, far too much LEaf talk.. they're a pathetic team, Sportsnet shouldn't be talking about them this much.

Gilroy was decent TBH. he had some giveaways but IMO better than carkner and better than Lee so far.

Let's not follow their lead. Ottawa deserves the center of attention right now

Agree completely. They took a lot of hits tonight because some of the Bs were just running around hitting everything they could. But it very rarely cost us the puck. They were very focused.

Tonight we saw what we can expect in the playoffs. A few of these boys became men.

I must say, reason why we won tonight was our amazing puck possession and collapses as a team to allow shots from the outside.

When we tighten up even more we will limit less mistakes and all. For the first 2 periods, we hammered them in their own end, the shots were 28-14 at one point. Ottawa had SO much flow to their game and we had unbelievable chances but we stuck to it.

I missed the first half of the third and it seems that's when Lehner stepped up which is amazing to see.

Great breakouts from the zone, stuck to his man relying on stick work, ala Karlsson and got some nice shots through.

Great debut. Real solid.

Get real. He did a great job on Lucic tonight, and apart from the brutal penalty, had a good game.
