I'm so sick of him and Wilson constantly dominating the hockey talk around here, it's like the players are hardly ever heard from.
Ah, my friend told me he asked if he should've been fired in stead. "On the hot seat" isn't that big of a deal.

6:30am, I do not blame Burke at all. I'd curse that *******.

Hot seat/fired, he may have used both terms. Burke is always in the media here and he's always loud, obnoxious and rude. He and Wilson think they are above everyone on the team and in the media. They overshadow the players and he's always telling someone in the media "none of your business". It's been 4 years of the same old behaviour and at least Wilson is gone, hopefully Burke will follow. The egos on these guys is unreal.

Anyone else think he should just not come back this season (Not from a he kills us, please don't come back sort of way, but from a, you could likely die with one big hit way)? I mean they are playing well and could go far in the play-offs, but at what point is it just stupid to risk another short comeback and get hurt again especially during the heat of the end of the season and the play-offs?

Ha just last night Corey Perry almost did the same thing. Got me to wondering how many hat tricks have been completed with two empty net goals. I know of one!

It took most of the season, but the Canucks finally look tired.

It was inevitable. Boston might be wearing down too.

Boston plays something like 15 games in the next 27 days or something. So if they are tired, good. I have zero sympathy for them.

Even better they either have Turco or some random guy as Thomas' back-up.
(The random guy might be the better option for them.)

I could honestly see them losing the division to Ottawa. Still a long shot, though.

Providence's starting goalie was hurt as well so they had to call up his backup. Boston could still have issues in the playoffs if Rask isnt ready and if something happens to Thomas.
Turco isnt available for the playoffs.

Capgeek released a twitter ranking of NHL people and left Timmeh off the list even though he has more followers then 100 of the people on there!

Even capgeek doesn't respect you Timmeh

Also Lupul out 3-4 weeks with a separated shoulder.

The pens put up a statue of Mario and its spammed all over the NHL's website, meanwhile the flyers retire a jersey and it hardly gets even a mention.

I hate this league sometimes.......
