He asked if he thought he was on the hot seat now. Stupid question for sure, but Burke could have diffused the situation by just answering and just left it at that. By reacting like he did he got everyone talking. It's been on all radio stations today, even competitors are talking about it. I'm so sick of him and Wilson constantly dominating the hockey talk around here, it's like the players are hardly ever heard from.

I heard that the reporter asked him if he thought he should have been fired instead of Wilson. I don't blame Burke for hanging up, that's a really crap question to ask a guy. Hot seat/fired, he may have used both terms. Burke is always in the media here and he's always loud, obnoxious and rude. He and Wilson think they are above everyone on the team and in the media. They overshadow the players and he's always telling someone in the media "none of your business". It's been 4 years of the same old behaviour and at least Wilson is gone, hopefully Burke will follow. The egos on these guys is unreal.
If he gets concussed again, I think he will be done for good. I hope that doesn't happen but you have to be skeptical.
Anyone else think he should just not come back this season (Not from a he kills us, please don't come back sort of way, but from a, you could likely die with one big hit way)? I mean they are playing well and could go far in the play-offs, but at what point is it just stupid to risk another short comeback and get hurt again especially during the heat of the end of the season and the play-offs?

Even better they either have Turco or some random guy as Thomas' back-up.

I could honestly see them losing the division to Ottawa. Still a long shot, though.
Providence's starting goalie was hurt as well so they had to call up his backup. Boston could still have issues in the playoffs if Rask isnt ready and if something happens to Thomas.
Turco isnt available for the playoffs.
Ever since Thomas skipped the White House visit they've been bad.
The bruins fan that i know said that they are getting tired of Thomas being too worried about speaking out about different thinks like Obama and more recently MSG lighting and not about playing the game
