Ya no way Edmonton passes on Nail. Then next season they wont have defense...again... and will pick first again. Wouldnt be surprised if they pick in the top 5 two more times.

Reason: defense not offense
I'm not well versed in Edmonton's prospect pool, but they have to at least entertain the idea of trading down, picking up multiple 1st round picks, and drafting d-men, right?
A story coming out of Montreal made odder the odd circumstance where Canadiens GM Pierre Gauthier pulled Mike Cammalleri from a game and told him to go back to the hotel because he had been traded. If you remember, Gauthier couldn't even tell Cammalleri where he was going because the deal hadn't been approved.
In this morning's Gazette, apparently Cammalleri asked Gauthier if he could keep his game jersey as a keepsake of having played for the Canadiens. Gauthier told Cammalleri he would have to pay for it if he wanted it, and the price tag was $1,250.
That's showing your players (and ex-players) how much you respect and appreciate them!
Cammalleri was asked about it, but refused to deny or corroborate the story. There was also no word if he actually bought his jersey.
