Judging by the reaction on the main boards, Lucic made a dirty hit

Boston cheap shotting? Not surprised. Didn't look major, but it did certainly look like he targeted his head.

That is the perfect example as to why they need to punish the intent and not just the injury.

It couldn't be more clear that he was going right for the head

Like ****ing clockwork. Once I figured out Boston would lose I was like "Lucic is gonna start some ****, I'mma watch this" and sure enough.

Also we shouldn't feel too bad about not being able to beat the Rangers, Boston just got swept by them. I think the Bruins do a good job as playing the "heels" in the NHL. The colors, the attitude, all the bullying, I like it. Good bad guys. Cheapshot aside Lucic is a boss.

In other news...New York's size scares the hell out of me. We go out and get a couple inches taller and a couple pounds heavier on the wings, and they go out and get several inches taller and a couple dozen lbs heavier...everywhere They're ridiculously well-rounded.

All the Rangers have to worry about is scoring depth. They're a scary opponent for anyone, even more so since they'll have home ice in every series (certainly in the East, anyway).

Probably one of the reasons they are also scary compared to others is that they've been healthy basically ALL season long.

I wouldn't rule out Boston just yet, they're missing Horton and I think Ference
Pittsburgh is New York's biggest threat IMO

It's freaking scary to think how good the Penguins would be if they were healthy
I mean they're great now, just imagine how much better they'd be with Crosby

Holy..

Watching that video gives you the two oppossite sides of the spectrum in terms of Richards and his media personality.

What happened to that early/young Richards?

The hit wasn't bad, but the punches to the face definitely were.

If we are healthy and if Bryzgalov has .925-.925 type of games we won't be easy team to beat.
