One more goal for Voynov and he exactly matches Penner's stats, except he has played 11 games less while being a +7 while Penner is a -6.

Wonder how long in this tread it will be until people start pointing out Richards and Carter still no points since Carter has joined.....
Good solid win for the team tonight. Hopefully with teams focusing more on the Richards line Brown and Kopi will start heating up going against the 2nd pairings for the other teams.....
As a noted non-Carter fan, he clearly has commanded attention that has loosened up Kopitar and Brown. And his speed has been impressive too.
Not to mention that VV>>JJ in seemingly every aspect of the game.
Like Kopitar mentioned in his postgame interview, Carter has been buzzing with the puck and has had chances. He is skating hard and commanding a great deal of attention from the other teams' top lines. Think it's a coincidence the Kopitar line has broken out since we got him?
Yeah, VV is looking great so far. My only reservation about him was his size, but he played a fantastic physical game tonight. I'm proud of the kid

Don't forget that richards is still being used as the shutdown line. They are getting the tough defensive assignments and are being watched closely. It's not a coincidence that brown is getting more space out there.
Carter has shown some great defensive awareness and has some great wheels. Kings still play defense first and second.

That was my point, which I think we're agreeing on ha. I totally agree that Carter's presence has taken defensive pressure off Kopi.
I think Lewis had a great game too. He is a whipping boy around here because the overall lack of scoring and his inability to finish. But he has significantly improved his physical play and brings a lot of very positive things to the table.

He's a whipping boy because of where he was drafted. He's not living up to the lofty expectations a 1st round forward has.

I like the wipping boys line:
Penner-Stoll-Lewis. They have done a good job keeping pressure up on the other teams. They should get some favorable matchups and need to start putting some pucks in the net.
