They gave out a couple of pairs around 3:30ish. They were asking people easy questions like who wears what number and they would give em away.

No luck, but I checked the ticket exchange yesterday and jumped on a decent deal. I was hanging in front of the Garden for a bit and didn't see anyone handing out tickets.

I thought the atmosphere was better last night than it was for game 1, but I think sitting in 409 rather than 315 had something to do with it.

the non-obstructed blue seats are the best places to watch games, period.

So what sections should I be looking for? I've only sat in the 400's twice (425 I believe) but don't remember how it was cause it was 4 years ago. My fiancee doesn't like to sit up there for whatever reason so we usually look for 300's but she's working Saturday, I kind of want to make the trip from CT and will be looking for a good deal and some people to make the trip with me. Thanks in advance kind people!

Let's Go Rangers!!!!

Just avoid 428, 401, and 410-418 if you're not in the first two or three rows. Also parts of 405 and 406 are obstructed if you're extremely close to the TV booth but most seats are fine for the most part.

I wonder if that's going to change next season when they redo the upper bowl. I'm hoping I'll be a pick a seat in the blue seats next season but I'm not holding my breath.

Last two rows are for sure based on the price break but we won't know about anything else until we actually get to see the arena and see for ourselves.

The Rangers need to make that 3-D viewer thing more accurate to the row. I think they are setting themselves up for problems, especially when it comes to specific seats being limited view.

2 Extras for Saturday Rangers Game 5

Got 2 extras for Saturday, Home Game 3, Game 5. Rangers will hopefully be trying to end the series

Tickets are in Section 113, Row 24. Better deal then you'll find else, and definitely better then the 300 Level for $25 less a ticket LOL.

$225 each or $450 for the pair. Can e-mail you the tickets if you pay through PayPal for 3% surcharge to cover my PayPal fees or meet you in NYC. Can provide proof of purchase as well.

Let's Go Rangers!

I don't know if anyone else agrees with me here, but these prices are absolutely insane! the cheapest i'm finding tix for is like 150 in the back of the upper bowl. My buddy is a devils fan he just picked up tickets to tonight's game for UNDER 40 bucks! Its ridiculous, with prices like these its impossible for the average fan to get to experience they playoffs.

All about supply and demand. Just keep an eye out on the market, they will go down by the time Saturday comes for sure if that's the game you're looking to go to. Games 1 and 2 started at $150-$160ish before fees and by the time the day of the game came, you could find a pair at $110 per including fees.

MSG isn't setting the prices in the resale market so you are correct...it's all about supply and demand. The prices would fall dramatically if most season ticket holders chose not to go to the playoffs.

Years ago I partnered with others for a season subscription. We split the playoff games so I was allocated my share at face value. If I wished to offset some of the cost of my share (during the season) I would sell tickets in the marketplace.

Saturday is going to be tough: weekend night & potentially a clincher. Game 1 was a weekday and the Rangers suddenly dumped a ton of extra tickets on ticketmaster that they were holding back for some reason. That cause the secondary ticket market to freefall and seats could be had for below face if you waited to within an hour of the game. That didn't happen for game 2 Saturday where prices stayed up. But your best bet will be to keep trying ticketmaster and be ready to buy the day of the game if any deals do happen to show up, because they'll go quickly

Dude, don't get insulted. It's not anything directed at you personally. It's merely a proposal, a suggestion.

I figure if the Rangers win tomorrow night, demand will be up for people who want to see them close out a series. The Garden will be rockin'. Plus, next round they only get more expensive...

Anyway, if no one likes the price, I get to go to the game, and The Garden will be Rockin'! lol

^ That logic is a bit flawed because.....

If I am going to be spending $250 on a 300 level seat, it definitely wouldn't be for round 1. People MIGHT pay that much for round 2. I'd rather watch them clinch on my tv, and have the chance to go to a round 2 game.

Why are they out of their minds. I remember paying $40 a ticket for a regular season Rangers/Islanders game in the early 80,s and was happy to be getting into the game. The stock market is up 10% for the year and the market was up 200 points today so it is all relative as people have much more disposable income today than this time last year and we all saw seats for game #4 against the Caps going for $250.

Not insulted, and happy for you if you can get it, but similar seats can be had right now on stubhub for under $200 each

Out of their mind?

Yes, unless that's what the tickets are selling for.

I sold game 2 for $240 each so $250 could be the right price? If the Rangers win tomorrow then tix prices might leap upward for Saturday.
