Not by my computer but from what I saw earlier, there wasn't much supply left today on StubHub or TicketExchange which is why it's so high. Games 1 and 2 had a lot more tickets left the day of the game.

Anyone complaining now about ticket prices, it is going to be worse next year. Got an email from msg that ticketsnow will be handling the ticketexchange instead of ticketmaster. Thing is, I believe ticketsnow is owned by ticketmaster. Wouldn't be surprised if the rangers put all individual game tickets on ticketsnow at secondary prices. When the Giants played Philly in the 2008 divisional play-offs, ticketmaster held a public onsale. Well, immediately seats were sold out, but there were a few thousand seats on ticketsnow that were NOT available on other sites like stubhub.

The market in New York alone is in the millions and stubhub still gets the majority of the sales which MSG would like to change(no surprise) as it is always nice to sell your own ticket twice.
The company is a subsidiary of ticketmaster. Basically, MSG will be putting individual game tickets directly on ticketsnow and scalping their own tickets.

Yes, I am sure you will have a whole bunch of posts next year claiming it isnt fair that real fans cant afford tickets and you will go on a rant about how you can only afford to buy 1 game and so forth. You will then have a few posts asking, "If anyone has tickets for face or close to it, I am interested....."

Just an interesting FYI:

Recently I posted some playoff tix for sale on TE, and discovered that if you just randomly search for "Rangers playoff tickets" you can hit TE without ever seeing your Rangers Tickets for sale.

Unless you specifically hit the Rangers TE you do not see your tickets.

I called my rep about this and he was not aware, but then confirmed that this is indeed the case.

So...we are not getting anywhere near the SEO and had assumed we were getting.

You have to be on the "Rangers TE", apparently there is another "general TE" that is not team specific.

So, if you go to The Rangers web site looking for tickets, and go to the TE link, no problem, Any tickets listed by Rangers STH's will be there.

But if you just do a search for "Rangers playoff tickets" or "Ranger Tickets", the search will show links that say Ticket Exchange, but it is NOT the Rangers TE.

I heard they are looking into charging 15% just like Stubhub.

There's nothing alarming about that if they did do it. It's an open and free market out there, TicketNow/TM does not have a monopoly, they have to compete with Stubhub / Razorgator / Craigslist / HF Boards etc... The prices for next year are high, season ticket holders will not be able to get too much above face value, and same goes for the Rangers. If they put up the $79 200's for sale on TicketsNow for $125, nobody is going to buy them. They're going to pay $75-$90 from other sources. The market will work it's way out, scalping works both ways and people will sometimes find games at below face value.

This, on the other hand, is completely crooked. Sounds like the Rangers are listing tickets directly on the secondary market, and excluding listings from their STH so that their sales get priority. This is attorney-general investigation-worthy stuff right there
