Amur should be winning if they had a decent powerplay, its been terrible today but haha yeah, thanks to Kuznetsov and his ability to save pucks with glove hand. The first one wasnt much better either.

Edit: Seems I thought you were talking about the second goal instead of the first, didnt check time stamp.

Runet is filled with Torpedo fans who are screaming about unfair officiating. WHAT?

Game over for Amur. Just as for Minsk.

They are probably still upset by that decision a minute or two before our winning goal where no penalty was given when our defenseman stopped their counter attack. Yeah, there was probably a 2 minute penalty but then again in game two, PS was given for our player slightly touching the opponent's leg with his stick, so.... Of course both times it went bad for Torpedo and they are upset but I don't think the officiating decided the game.

In the end all those plane trips just may have worn them out. ButI think their fans can be proud of what their team did this season.

Garnett has collapsed second time in a row, Traktor is trailing by 2 goals.

EDIT: Proskuryakov collapsed as well, holy

As much as I would to see Yugra doing well, they don't strike me as possible champions and that contradicts my other wish which is to have to some more "outsider-ish" Gagarin Cup winners. Traktor would fit that mould if they would get their act together.

MY GOD, 4 goals in 4 minutes!!!11!! WTF?! 6:6, the game is tied.

EDIT: Antipov had two goals, that's what I call a captain and a play-off player.

Masalskis gets thrown into playoff action once again. Let's see how he does this time around.

Shepelev should've put Edzha earlier, now it was too late.

This loss will cost Yugra the whole series.

EDIT: Epic results today all-around. Barys' leading 3:2, CSKA and SKA head for second straight OT.

On the one hand Traktor made miracle today.... from 2:6 going into the 3rd period to 7:6 at the end.

On the other hand nothing surprising really, we saw the same story last year too. Biryukov is not and it seems like will never be a play-off goalie. He's great but because of games like these when it matters most, he'll never be a serious contender for Russia goaltender nr.1 in Sochi or anywhere....

It seems like now Masalskis will have to prove himself again in play-offs, let's see how it'll go. Yeah, today they lost but after such a shock to get the team together for last 10 minutes.... Can't imagine....

In other news, fans will be very angry at Magnitogorsk. Barys is up 2-1 in the series and at the moment it's hard to see how magnitka will win this series...

Afinogenov 2-1 OT to SKA and it seems like CSKA is finihed... Though we'll see how they play in St. Petersburg second time...

AK Bars is usually great in OT, will see if they prove it again or SYU wins this time

Come on! Biryukov has ALWAYS sucked in play-offs and even though everybody thought that maybe this year it won't be the case, this happened this year too. The same happened with Biryukov last year, the same when he played for MVD....

If the game was ''bought'', why buy it after the 2nd third when you're losing 2:6 already... Sure you could already before the game ''buy'' 2:1 in OT or just a win by 2:1, 3:2 and nobody would even talk about someone buying or selling something....

And if the games are so easily bought then they could already buy the win at home and both these games... or next three in the row, if after the second period they saw they were losing 2:6...

Even Masalskis has said that Biryukov doesn't handle play-off stress well...

Yeah, I remember how 2 years ago they said that policemen/ Ministy of Interior has bought MVDs place in the final and (before the final series was played) Gagarin Cup... except that nobody from the Ministry of Interior would even care that such a team exists or about it's results... They also said that league bought it because they wanted to show a Cinderella story, that a small team with great fans and management can go to the final in this league. Then again, if they wanted a cinderella they could choose any of the small Eastern teams or Dinamo Riga or Severstal instead of some HK MVD that had small arena, not the best fans around and didn't have even tv translations from its arena......

Last year there was also a lot of talk about Atlant blah blah blah... and I guess in the East they always tak about who has 1000 year anniversaries for their city/region and has to win during a certain year....

If something was really bought SKA would be the triple Gagarin Cup holder by now....

It's impossible to prove they sold it , but I can guarantee over 2 players will be let go after tomorrows game if they go down 3 games.

and I don't mean that the entire team sold the game
I was told they are key players and most are in their last year of the contract

I've decided to cheer for a KHL team for the playoffs, and went with Barys Astana (Bochenski and Glass are ex-Sens).

It was Antipov+Belousov on one side & Biryukov on the other. That's it.

Certainly a good choice, they are a very likeable team.

I hate our goaltenders, they both are atrocious. And our foreigners are bunch of grinders and nothing more. It's sad to say, but his team isn't going nowhere this year. If we will loose M. Redlihs in offseason, you might as well disband this team.

They can pull off an upset if all lines continue scoring and Yeremeyev stays calm. It will be their first ever advancement to the 2nd round.

Not over yet. I will sing "Шайбу, шайбу, ТРАКТОР!" during the last period
