I like the Clutterbuck for Derek Roy proposal.

Yeah he was known by many names. Mrknowitall, MKIA, and TechnoWild were just a few of his names.

That guy singlehandedly destroyed the Russo forum community at the Strib. (that and them charging to read their articles online)

That guy's comments were completely asinine and were only meant to troll. I think that's around the time I quit reading Russo's comments and started reading HF Boards so... thank you?

The New Eklund Rumor has the Wild interested in Kovalchuk..saying New Jersey tries to move him in some kind of ploy to keep Parise Happy.

I know..stupid Eklund rumor..just got me thinking if we do miss out on Parise and Suter what kind of deal do you think it would take to get a Kovalchuk, Bobby Ryan,Getzlaf or another big name player like that??

We'll go after Ryan. Definitely not Kovalchuk, though. We'll go hard, I expect, after Ryan if we miss out on everyone. We'll see how this Evander Kane business plays out, too.

I don't see any possible way for us to go hard after Ryan without invoking names such as Granlund, Brodin, Dumba or Coyle. I see it as a dead end.

We really don't have the assets to go after a big name trade target unless Fletcher goes back on his "don't dry the prospect well" promise.

I don't see GMCF giving up the prospects that he acquired for Ryan or Kovalchuck. The price will be too high.

This week needs to be over with already, too much waiting.

Yeah there is no way we get someone as big as Kovalchuk or Ryan without blowing a big hole in our lineup and prospect pool. We are barely getting to a point where we should have the depth to last a whole season of injuries. We are not deep enough that we can think of selling off the young'ns for proven talents.

I'd be thrilled if they landed Bobby Ryan, but I cant imagine what the cost would be. I have a feeling Kane is going to want a change of scenery (jmo).

Agree, which is why there is talk about massive numbers (years and $) being thrown at Parise and Suter. They can overpay for one or both of these guys and not lose any prospect depth.

If I can get through today the rest of the week should be a bit easier. Should be the toughest day of the week at work today simply because of how hot and humid it is out there today.

It didn't help that they changed the comment section too. There are still a bunch who post on a different board but it's a small number.

I unload semi trailers and they get even hotter in there than it is outside. I'll be sweating up a storm today.

We can wear whatever we want. The only requirement really is that they're not really baggy and that we wear work boots.

At least you aren't out there in jeans and a button down. That'd be ugly.
