Good win! I really like Grossman. Bryz plays good, but sadly his numbers got worse.
Good 2 points.

Kimmo says he hopes he has a few more good years left.
Anyone catch that? Multiple years more of Kimmo?

Agreed. He wasn't challenged much after the 1st period, but he was solid. The third goal especially was a combination of things (none of which were him) and Schenn ran into him as the shot was going in.
Bryz has had a bunch of confident games in a row now. D still looks bad at times, but Grossman did a nice job throwing down some bodies in front in this game.
Good win.

With the addition of Grossman, we have at least 2 competant defensemen on the ice during the game. Funny thing is, Bryz play has improved with that.
funny how things work eh?

I do not want to see Carle and I am not sure what this team will need to do about Mesz and Coburn. Both are very average on and make a lot of money
I mean these were NYI. Not NYR or Pens or Boston. Freaking NYI.

He had a good game but he was also on the ice for two of NY's goals and in context of the three stars, that could have worked against him.

Flyers won 26 of 50 faceoffs tonight. Not to bad.
Giroux- 10-18-56%
briere-7-14-50%
Couts-7-14-50%
Grossman was awesome in front of our net tonight too. To go along with his 18:43 TOI he also had an assist and was a plus 2. 3 hits and 3 blocked shots. Good game all around besides the first minute of period 1 and 2

Alright! Just finished that. I liked what I saw, they took control of that game after a horrendous start. I'm tired of horrendous starts. Lavi needs to sort that.
--Bryz was big. He had a great game, and the goals against weren't on him. Kept them in it in the beginning, and kept the Islanders out of it a few times later on.
--Read reappeared. Excellent. Simmonds and Hartnell both looked really good at times. Giroux and Voracek had "meh" games by their usual standards.
--Mez was terrible, and then he was awesome. I'd say he made up for his early deficiencies. The team's defense overall was pretty good, but when they messed up they messed up big.
--Timonen.
