I wouldn't be completely sure of that. It sounded like a lot of Crosby's struggles were actually related to neck and spinal issues, which are still dangerous, but there's also a lot more certainty to their healing process.

This. Not only is there too much risk, but what else does he have to prove? He's won an Olympic gold medal, Stanley Cup, and numerous other accolades (Including being the "savior" for the Pens alongside Super Mario) all by 25.

Get out while you're ahead, and the job offers for everything from scouting to broadcasting to coaching will be at your feet.

We should offer Crosby a job in our broadcast booth as the color commentator if he retires.

I say hire him as an assistant coach. No doubt everyone on our team would listen to what he has to say.

Unfortunately, if he does retire, the only organization he'll get a job with is the Pens.

Edmonton Oilers execute the worst line change in the history of line changes

Guess one of the players who was involved.

I think I'm going to start watching Oilers games, to feel better about the Wild.

If and when I get my Center Ice back I might start DVRing Jackets Feeds to make myself feel better.

The Sharks lost tonight in a shootout to the Oilers.

I have a Karkat avatar all ready with him wearing a Sharks sweaterand everything. Now I may not even get a chance to put it on if their slide continues.

Most definitely not. I only do internet on my phone. It was just on before nhl live. Looks like it reruns after the game. Gillies has that doofy look on his face too.

I'm looking on the Pens board and they're saying Neal said it to Jack Johnson, not Gillies.

Thoughts?

how the hell would he know who Gillies is? I'm guessing it was to JJ. A bit higher profile, with higher expectations.

I'm guessing it was JJ or Gillies was running his mouth a lot more than he should've been.

Sounds like a disappointment for a future disappointment.

That's still a nice thing for the company to do. They gotta keep fans loyal somehow.
