And they were supposed to be my Bandwagon team

Remember back a month or two ago when I was saying I was gonna ditch this team and go watch the Sharks? Well part of the reason that never happened is the Sharks started to tank too.

Remember in the offseason when we were joking that we were gonna meet the Sharks in the conference finals this year for the battle of Best Trading Buddies Forever?

Feels like so long ago.

Here's that NHL 36 with James Neal. Skip to 18:04 or so and you'll hear Neal say "You're still a loser here you're a ****ing loser here" (really nice chirp by the way )



Doesn't look like it's at Gillies, looks like it's someone off screen behind Gillies but hell if I know.

It looks like the Flames are using "Every Game Matters" as their slogan this season.

I can tell a mediocre team desperately clinging to playoff hopes that were never really there when I see one!

Also, I think those same irrelevant flames just ended my Jets' season.

Seriously, I can't even find a tolerable bandwagon this year. Worst-ever crop of playoff teams since the expansion era?

Yeah, but the Panthers had 3 games in hand on them at that point.

Barring a comeback, the standings are going to look like:

3rd - Florida - 75pts - 67GP
8th - Washington - 72pts - 67GP
9th - Winnipeg - 72pts - 69GP

Those 2 games in hand are gonna be really tough to make up, especially since they're abysmal in road games.

Man I was gonna jump on the Jets bandwagon as my 2nd choice, with the Sharks floundering and about to fall out of the playoffs.

This is a terrible year for playoffs as far as I am concerned.

SportsClubStats says it's far more likely than not that we see the Penguins against the Flyers in the first round.


At least there's one playoff series I want to watch.
