LAST GAME HIGHLIGHTS
I would like to thank the people that make amazing GDT's every day, I took a lot of my inspiration from them, they are really talented people and I hoped to make something a little close to what they have made. Hope you enjoy this, as it is my first GDT, there is so much I could improve now, but it would take me too long.

Toronto lost in regulation again last night. 4 straight L's. They are out of it.
Jets have 3 more games played than us and 4 pts less.
Caps with a game more and 3 pts less.
Can't imagine us stinking it up and miss the playoffs, really can't.
Still I'm nervous everytime it's game day.
Hoping we can finally beat the Panthers tonight....... with Versteeg out and Bogo back for us... I think we have a chance.
I really don't have any "winning the division" aspirations as I don't think the Panthers will crumble like the Leafs. We just need to leapfrog the Caps to get back into 8th.
The Jets win tonight and also promise to beat the Caps in the 2 games we have left with them. If the Panthers beat the Caps in their remaining games...... you guys win the division and we sneak into 8th.

The only correction I'd make is that those aren't the actual lines for tonight, but no biggie.
It's a real big game tonight and luckily not made crazy big thanks to the 3 game winning streak. A win here would be real nice, especially since I do not like our chances in either game this weekend, seriously Nashville and Ottawa back to back, oy.
I am confident that others can step up without Versteeg, was already proven last game.

Somewhere there. I'm not actually even sure if we are going to any bars, it's a surprise party to one of my gf's friends who's having her b-day today and I've been kept in the dark (like guys would gossip about stuff, come on.. ) so that I won't say anything inappropriate.
It could be a rented cabin or anything (they actually first tried to lure me to use our house, my parents+bro have been on a holiday since monday and get back tomorrow. I had one party back in the day at my house, never having one again. /endofdiscussion). My money is on bars though.

Last week my best friend and roommate got soo sick that he got it my girlfriends ceiling.... Yes the ceiling lol.
I need to find time to comment more as I meant to post this days ago, but I actually got a drink during the 2nd period of the Carolina game too out of agrivation, and have made one each game since. I'll be sure to grab something tonight. I'm with you Fins in spirit!!

Btw.. Many many years back. When I was still living at my parents apartment. They were at our summer/winter house and I had 1 friend over. We were playing some NHL game + getting wasted and about to leave to the bar. Well seems we made a lot noise and our neighbors were to frightened to come over and tell us so they called the cops. Once the cops got to my place they told me that the neighbors thought there was a huge fight going along but I just told them I was playing NHL with my m8 and we were losing in the finals so there was a lot cussing and you know. Well the cops came in and looked all over the place for victims even under then sauna's benches LOL. Well we agreed with the cops it's better that we leave for the bar. Of course being me I asked could we get a ride. They were first hesitant but then I persuaded them to take us. The trip was about 500 meters lol. But the faces of people in the line when we got back out of the police van and then cut the line (as it's a place were I got "VIP") oh yeah my friend was on crutches then
what has worked really well for us the last two games is our play in front of the opposing goalies. We have a lot more bodies lately crowding the crease and getting to rebounds. Especially weisser the last couple of games consistently going to the net and gaining position.
We benefited off playing against 2 crappy goalies/defenses in montreal and toronto the job is tougher tonight with winnipeg's big bodies and pavelec.
