Rumor has it that Southern Illinois would take a run at Weber again if the Illini fire him.

I sure hope so. Our program has been complete garbage since he left. One of my teachers always talks about how our program has gone to **** and almost nobody shows up to games anymore. It is pretty sad, because when I first got here basketball was huge and the gym was always packed. I remember I rushed on the court when we upset Drake when they were ranked like 12 and were 18-0 or something like that. Last time I went to a game there were like 50 people in the stands and it was pitiful.

Weber pretty much screwed me. Been an Illini fan all my life and as soon as I go to SIUC, he leaves and program turns to ****. Then he goes to Illinois and turns them to **** in the process. But I'd gladly take him back at SIU. Now if he comes back and turns the program around I will already be gone and won't reap the benefits. Damn you Bruce Weber!

Didn't know where to post this, but my HS team just won its regional. We were down 15 in the 3rd quarter (seven-minute quarters) and forced overtime. My best friend helped lead the comeback. They dominated the four-minute overtime and won by four. We stormed the floor and went ape ****. Great ****ing night.

Illinois' club hockey squad is playing Ohio in the first round of the ACHA national tournament noon Central time on Saturday.

Not sure if there's going to be a free audio of video stream available, but here's hoping we manage to advance.

Derrick Rose was money again today. That guys comes up with big plays when the pressure is on soo often it's awesome, especially when The King is passing up to Haslem because he is afraid of that same pressure.

My HS won its regional too. Plus the guy who announced the game on local TV made it on deadspin last night

Pacers celebrate like they won the Championship after beating Bulls earlier this year. Bulls especially Rose vow revenge. Beat Pacers by 20 and get the White Mamba in the game and he gets a bucket to close out the game.

Dream playoffs: Bulls eliminate the 8th seed; (3)Knicks eliminate the (6)Pacers; Heat defeat the 7 seed; Knicks defeat the Heat; Bulls advance as well; Bulls defeat the Knicks in 4; Bulls win the title.

Sweet revenge on everyone

I still don't get why people made a big deal out of this, especially as the Bulls, and particularly Noah, celebrate after every basket they make.

So Spring Training means nothing, but Brett Jackson has 3 home runs in 5 games.

It definitely means something. Good way to solidify Byrd getting moved mid season so BJax can get called up.

Makes you feel a little better about the future of the team. Hell even Soriano had a big day yesterday. If they can minimize his time in the outfield, and keep his legs fresh, hopefully he can keep knocking in runs for us this year. His contract sucks, but he is the biggest bat on this team.
