Dubinsky has 3 points in 2 games versus the Hurricanes this year. Maybe he gets something going this game and starts that tear a lot of you are expecting/hoping to see.
At any rate, I'll be at the game as a double-date. Listen for the obnoxiously loud Rangers fans yelling from on high.
Don't just get the win. Annihilate them. A blowout win is long overdue for this team this year. Haven't won by more than 3 goals since December 11th, and only done it twice this year. A win puts them, at minimum, 5 games up (10 points, ROW tie-breaker) on the Eastern Conference with 20 games to play. Statement win, then run and hide with the Conference crown.
It just really irritates me. The Hurricanes are a team that is not too far removed from winning the Stanley Cup in a region where youth hockey is taking off (relatively).
Can you imagine if Rangers games were not even scheduled to be on TV? We'd be burning things down. We got a taste of it during the Time Warner dispute, and it was not well received.

Regarding Dubi--I hope so, but I don't think he snaps out of his funk until the playoffs at the earliest. It's in his head. He needs the season to end to start something new and positive.
I do expect Cally to be on fire if he plays. Hasn't he been dominant against the Canes for a couple years now (too lazy to check the stats)? He's brimming with confidence at the moment, too.
Totally agree with the "destroy them" feeling. They can't let Ward get into a rhythm. They need to score quickly and then just keep pouring it on.

Well, carolina's still a small market team.
And it looks like there's no broadcast for phoenix in the calgary vs phoenix game either.
I think carolina fans can still watch the game if they have center ice. I can't imagine that blackout restrictions apply when there's no local network broadcasting it.
Just a few weeks ago there was a Calgary/Florida game and neither team had a broadcast. Florida provided the jumbotron feed with the clock superimposed in the corner, this is what the entire game looked like (including the Panthers Ice Dancers during intermissions/commercials):
I would do that since I feel Tampa's offense is more dangerous but I think they're gonna go Hank tonight. Don't think they want Henrik playing Friday night then having to come back for an early Sunday afternoon game. Really only has one day off with the short turnaround. If they play him tonight, that gives him both Friday and Saturday off.

Now, is that the broadcast clock, or the infamous Toronto clock?

Were there announcers? I remember watching a game a few years ago and they were having audio problems, so for like 5 mins all you could hear was the sounds from the ice. Best 5 mins of hockey I've ever seen.
As for the game, Torts usually starts Biron on the 1st of back to backs. I expect that to continue and Hank to play tomorrow. Given who we're playing, I'm perfectly fine with that.
