The last minute of play really stands out for me as to why the leafs are bad.

Lupul in the corner fighting for the puck. gets control of it and sends it to the front of the net. Our three midgets Kessell. Grabovski and Bozal cant get anywhere near the puck. The bigger hawks players kept them to the perimeter. We NEED some size to get to the dirty areas and score some garbage goals when we need them.

Look at Brown. Just as big as the three mentioned above but plays like he is 6ft 4.
what happens he goes to the blue paint and tips in a goal.

Any goaltender playing against the leafs get absolutely no traffic in front of him.

Luke Schenn played incredible tonight. He took his own accountability from last night and made a huge statement tonight.

so obviously my two teams playing each other tonight. im also part of tank nation, so i was definitely cheering for the hawks.

having said that, it's easy to underestimate how good kessel and lupul are until you find yourself cheering for the other team. every shift they had i was nervous as hell. lupul is so good at creating space and when kessel decides to cut to the middle, it results in a scoring chance 90% of the time is seems.

A good coach candidate.

On a side note, Lets say Wilson gets fired after the season is over, who do u guys think would be a good, stable and solid good for this young inconsistent group?

I would personally go with a coach that loves to play solid two-way system a la Alan Vigneault but can't think of any current possibilities that are not in the NHL.

Finally they'll own their own picks when it matters.

Kessel for Nash would have helped the problem you mention

They accept incompetence that leads to a lottery pick in the first place.

Adding a two way center between those two will be incredible.
