I want to see Cizikas Sent back down. He's played we and by all means has earned the right to be here, but we are going nowhere right now. I rather him play well for Bridgeports playoff push, learn to lead, win, experience Playoff intensity. He got his taste of NHL compitition, let him apply what he learned.

I agree with this. Can't teach the new guys bad habits when they seem to be doing fine on their own. Learn to win and expect to win. We need that mentality more then any single skill can bring us.
Quick question. Going to game tonight with clients (will be wearing Flyers garb). What are the chances some rockhead tries to start something If I wear my Billy Smith jersey?
When I used to go to a lot of Flyers games several years back, I used to wear an Islanders jacket, a jersey, and a hat. I never had anyone mess with me or even say anything. I am 6-3 240 lbs., though...not sure if that had anything to do with it...and my Flyers friends are all the same size. Also, as others have stated, I was not there trying to start anything. Now, going to an Eagles game...that is a different story. There is NO WAY I would wear any opposing team's gear. There are drunk fans that literally look to fight and my Philly friends are some of them. I have literally seen Eagles fans fight each other...and they don't need much of an excuse to start s*** with anyone. After an Eagles-Bucs playoff game a few years back on New Year's Eve, about 20 Eagles fans surrounded a guy wearing an Alstott jersey and were threatening him. He was bigger than any one of the 20 guys, but 20-1...not good odds. Thankfully, he kept walking. I, too, kept walking because I did not want to get drawn into any melee.
Is there a bonus paid to Nino if he appears in a certain amount of games over gets over a certain amount of points? Because that's the only reason I can see for scratching him yet again.
If the Isles had planned to scratch Nino for any other games as of this past Monday onward (the deadline to send him back to Portland), they should have just send him down.... what a freakin joke!! They rush these kids and then don't develop them in the right atmosphere.... insanely inept.. really mind boggling..

If the bonus is for 3 goals or 4 total points, I think the Isles are pretty safe.

I would say no greater than wearing your Isles jersey in any other opposing arena.
Just don't go to Geno's after the game and start mouthing off in the "neighborhood" and you'll be fine.
Jim Jackson used to be much better.. But i guess after being around a team for so long you just start being more of a homer
I kind of prefer it if the home announcer is rooting for the home team as it makes a more casual viewer feel more comfortable maybe?

It's not that I dislike Jackson that much, but Comcast Indianapolis doesn't give me the option of watching the Islanders broadcast. Too cheap to add the other channel.
