Gotta wonder about the Blues. Historically, Hitchcock teams start out amazing, then for some reason the wheels just fall off. Probably too soon for that though.
True, but one loss and wins by those below us and we'd drop back to 10th in one game. Not saying that's going to happen, just that the Western conference is so tight we can't rest for a single game.
I'm really getting tired of hearing about poor Chicago on a six game road trip and oh the miles they've traveled. Big *** deal. They have it every single year, it's nothing new. And they've only played 2 games at home. When they finally get home they get a 7 game home stand. Yes, 7 games.
We just had a 7 game road trip. Before Thursday night we had only played 2 games at home. We come home for ONE game and go back on the road again before getting a whole 4 game home stand. Oh and we have another 5 game trip in March. No one feels bad for us.
Anaheim is on a six game trip, no one feels bad for them either.
was just getting ready to trash the wings for allowing LA to tie them up with less than a minute and giving LA a free point and then they score with less than 4 seconds to go....

kings had 47 shots.... scored 2 goals...
That was a great hockey game from start to finish- very entertaining.
As much as I hate to say it, anyone writing the Wings obituary better slow down- they still know how to win.......
Whether or not it was intentional, we will never know for sure. There is nothing to prove it was intentional. That's just the way it goes often enough.
On another note, Toews decided to get into a fight with J. Thornton last night. Hilarity ensued

They have quite the history. They've fought before. Team Canada teammates going at it. I can't remember if they were on the same line together. As dangerous as it can be, I love to see the stars go at it.
Predators, Wild, Blackhawks, Red Wings, Blues, Blue Jackets, Stars & Jets
I seriously doubt there would be two canadian expansion teams. More likely the yotes get relocated to QC and the expansion teams are in the west like seattle, portland, or las vegas. Or if the yotes do get to stay(hopefully) QC could get one expansion but the other would likely be out west

keep thinking that IF QC gets a team (2 teams in Quebec) that Toronto won't get a second team ... most underserved market ... NYC area has 3 teams ... yeah sure call it NJ ... 3 teams within 44 minutes driving time ... yet Toronto has 1 team ? ... It's coming ... 1 to Toronto, 1 to QC & Phoenix heads to Seattle

No way, the expansion fees for two Canadian teams will be astronomical. If anything, Yote move to Portland, the NHL expands to QC and Tor2. That's nearly half a billion in fees for the 3 moves. per team, this could net 15 million dollars
