anyone else find it odd that Phoenix played in front of a sold out crowd tonight but couldnt sell out Saturday night? they must have literally been giving tickets away

Surprised he lasted as long as he did. I mean, it's not like he's had alot of post-season success.

Hang in there Trotz! I can't fathom him getting fired before breaking the NHL record.

To be honest, I didn't think it was terrible. Not good, by any means, but a lot of those goals were crazy bounces and scrums in front and stuff. It wasn't like they were letting in goals from center ice or anything.

That last goal on Vokoun reminded me of the first one Mason let in against Colorado. Just a terrible bounce.

It wasn't terrible goaltending, but as you said, it wasn't great, either. That game looked just like their playoff series last year to me- just poor defense all over the ice. When the Preds are playing their usual game, they give up fewer scoring chances in 5 games than those two teams gave up in one tonight.

But very, very entertaining- I am not sure there is another matchup in the league right now that provides more drama than Pens/Flyers.

Sorry, but I honestly don't care for 6-5 games, including when it's the Preds.

Depends on how they get to 6-5.

If it's based on lame defense and soft goals, that's not too exciting. But if it's an honest 6-5 shootout with a lot of talent on display and some highlight goals scored, that's just good hockey.

Similarly a 2-1 game that is a result of a hard fought defensive effort can be extremely entertaining. But if it's 2-1 because of sloppy passing and low percentage shot attempts, then it's probably not all that great to watch.
