Except we have incompetent management doing the rebuild.

If anyone can understand the state of the CBJ (minus the front office) it's the Avalanche. Last year was awful for the Avs with a questionable defense that acquired a former top pick who wasn't living up to expectations. With disgusting goaltending, they basically turned in the season hoping for the top pick in the upcoming draft.

Hopefully the Jackets can follow suit and address the goaltending department, have JJ work out the kinks in his game, and get a big contribution from Yakupov.

If we were looking at a full rebuilt, it would be OK. Our FO is convinced it was injuries, bad luck, and a few other poor excuses. Tinkering is all we will do, by the same buffoons that got us here.

Wonder how many Avs fans will be stuck with the CBJ feed?

They were having a riot with it the last time, and I can't say I blame them.

If only they knew the pain of dealing with it for like 82 games.

Haynes and McNabb have some awful moments too. We just couldn't get over how Varlamov was like Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcaniosis for that guy.

VARMALOV

STEVE VARMALOV

Rimer sucks. I just posted in your GDT how he pronounces Sharks D man Vlasic so badly. I'm sure there are more names but I tend to tune it out I guess.

How does he pronounce Vlasic?

And guys... some of you may know of me... I'm from Chicago... I witnessed Moore on an incredibly incredibly weak Chicago Steel team... He was the only thing keeping them competitive... When he hits his prime there is no doubt in my mind he will be a top 15 defender in the league. Kid is legit.

I'd put the CBJ's odds of winning tonight at about 1 in 600. Guessing on a track meet blowout.

I would like to reserve the GDT for Tuesday against Phoenix if thats ok. I have some ideas, and Im already working on it.

As far as tonight, I fully expect to get killed. I know that is extremely pessimistic but I cant help it. We are 0-2 vs the Avs this year, and I feel like they have always had our number. The Avs have won 4 straight, beat us 5-0, and Varlamov has stopped the last 87 out of 89 shots.

Nah, that's cool Wiz. Just let that guy walk right to the net. He's not a rookie and you're not a defenseman or anything...
