Also here is a few things I think I just want to see if anyone agrees....

We should keep JPA and trade d'Arnaud
Evan Crawford will start the season in the bullpen
Colby Rasmus will hit 25+ homers this year
Brandon Morrow will have a winning record

Agreed, move JPA to first a possibility and trade your precious Lindy?

I'd love to see either JPA or Lind as DH, and the other at 1b.

I don't know how it will work honestly. I may cry tears of sadness, followed by tears of joy once I find out who we get in return. Lind is one of those sports athletes that I have no idea why I like him so much. His swing looks foolish when he strikes out, but when he hammers one to right he looks like he's having a cup of coffee while the bat makes contact. Effortless.

I know what you mean. Many Leaf posters would flame me hard for my hard on for Brad Marchand. I don't know why I like him so much, he's not even a Leaf, but I've always loved pests like him. Tucker was my fav Leaf

So I know the MLBPA won't allow for real contracts in this game, but wow. All of AA's excellent budget managing extensions are for not in this game. They didn't even come close to replicating it. The years aren't even close to correct, kind of frustrating for franchise players. For instance, Bats has 1/14m; Yunel has only two years; Santos only 1; Lind only two. Yet Fielder has his 9 year contract for cheap (11m)!

1) No. I'd rather keep both and shift JP to DH/backup C, or even stick him at 1st. All-around catchers like d'Arnaud don't grow on trees.

2) Could happen, especially with Litsch hurt. It'll come down to whether or not he outperforms Perez in the spring, and by how much. I'd still probably lay odds against it though just because Perez has to go through waivers to be sent down.

3) Possible. 20-25 seems to be the mean projection for Rasmus (for people that believe he'll rebound from last season and that he's not a bust/massively overrated)

4) I don't see why not. He's been at or above .500 in both seasons as a starter with the Jays.

No, why everyone loves a catcher who is below average and hits .220 is beyond me. Yes he hit a modest 22 HR and is a riot on Twitter, not a future star. D'Arnaud is.

No, we have to many pitchers that we would have to expose 1 to waivers to make room, AA doesnt give assets away for free.

Yes, Rasmus will break out

Yes, Morrow will break out

I'm going to the Jays split squad game in Dunedin tomorrow against the Red Sox. Does anyone know if they sign autographs before/during the game at all? I was thinking of taking a couple of baseballs with me just in case.

@Ken_Rosenthal
Scouts yesterday had #Yankees' Pineda at 88-91 - "and there was some effort to get to 91," one said. Pineda averaged 94.7 last year.

Would be nice if this is true.

I never wish any bad on anyone, but when it come's to the Yankee's I will make an exception. Knowing the Yankee's though they will whine to Selig that the trade was tainted and have it overturned or something like that and Bud will cave into the empire.

I don't wish injuries on other people but if it happens to teams I do not like then I am not going to feel bad for them either.

Yeah I saw that a while ago. Couldn't believe it. Even his top 100 list sucked.

But I don't take it seriously since I don't even know who the guy is. I did see him posting in BBB trying to explain his reasoning.

At least Lawrie is making him eat it.

I have 360, so I bought 2K because I was itching for baseball last year, so I didn't have expectations because I played the Show and obviously it's better.

But I was pleasantly surprised. 2K is a solid game, don't go off comparisons to The Show
