Thought Buffalo could make a push for big money as they have in the past with the new ownership, but the cap hit may not allow for this to happen. The Sabres still need to re-sign RFA's to contracts as well.

Los Angeles could make a big push too with Penner, and Stoll coming off their contracts and that would free up money for Lombardi to look at making a push to sign.

The Rangers are always looking to upgrade, but it could be difficult to retain a player when long term/money will be thrown at Parise. Even Sather may blink at the offer given to Parise to make him think twice. Sather may just go for Rick Nash in trade instead.

The dark horse General Manager to offer the most term/money would possibly be like Dean Lombardi, as he may go all out with a long term offer based on his willingness to go for Carter to retool the forward core.

He was a North Stars fan, and his favorite player was Modano.

He did say in an interview that he thinks Datsyuk is the best player in the league, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Wings Jersey next year.

They'll definitely be making an offer to him if he hits the market

must suck to be the Rangers and have a legit chance at one of both Rick Nash and Zack Parise.

All signs point to New Jersey. Just don't sign him until he's 50! I'd like to see him play at least one season for the Wild.

One of his best friends Stafford plays in Buffalo, so he will probably come to Buffalo.

I really dont see him not re-signing with the Devils, but I would absolutely love him in a Bluenote.

He trains with Kyle Okposo in the summer, clearly he's coming to the Islanders

Seriously though, who knows? He's probably going to end up signing in New Jersey but I would like to see him go to Nashville, where he would be the and potentially bring them the Cup.

If he wants to win and not uproot himself completely, he'll come to NY. But watch out guys, the Devils fans will go into an uproar if you even suggest that he could sign elsewhere.

Buffalo to play with his buddy Stafford. Also he has played for a team with the name Sabres before I just cant see why he wouldnt come to Buffalo. Parise played midget AAA hockey for four seasons for the Shattuck-St. Mary's Sabres in Faribault, Minnesota.

I'd say there is a 90% chance of him staying with NJ.
3% NYR
2% Detroit
1% LA
4% some darkhorse team

I doubt he goes to Minnesota with how their teams looks. This is his chance to win and they are a bubble team with him without a lot of hope to become a contender.

If not NJ, then Detroit or Boston.

Relax, he hasn't signed yet. I find it unlikely he makes it to July 1st. I know everyone pretends Lou doesn't negotiate during the season, but he has before. If Zach makes it to July 1st he's a goner.

Impossible to say where he goes with any certainty at all. If he's willing to play in NJ, he's probably willing to play anywhere, and I can't see a reason all 30 teams wouldn't at least kick those tires.
