Starting goalies Antero Niittymaki (4-6, 3.07 GAA, .895 SV%) and Ben Bishop (25-14, 2.23 GAA, .930 SV%) lead Crunch and #BSens out.
@matttraub No one told me there was a sock championship!

@matttraub Whoa, whoa, whoa. How am I not involved in anything involving crazy socks? I was even there today!

@altonwu Gryba was in line for a call-up last year, but got hurt, so he probably deserves one, especially w/Borowiecki having had his first.
In reply to Alton Wu
@altonwu He's been very steady, and B-Sens have relied on him a lot. Need to see him in a few NHL games to know for sure he's ready, though.

A good look at the city of Syracuse's proud new vehicle booting programme. I love the horrified woman late in the video clip - she is an attorney for a Syracuse firm as well...very classy.

No one, anywhere, said a WORD about Bishop in Ottawa. He was going to Tampa and that was that.

Can we call up Hoffman now please? No point in having Daugavins eat up that roster spot.

DAMN I'm glad to see Bishop just waltz into the B-Sens lineup and look dominant. Change teams late in the year? No problem, still putting up numbers that proves he's grown out of the AHL.
I've been pumping Bishop's tires since before we got him, I can't wait to see him with the big club.

Golden:
7 teams ahead of Binghamton in the conference for the last playoff spot.
Binghamton with 50 points is 11 behind the Manchester Monarchs
the current 8th team in the conference who have 61 points.
Binghamton has 19 games left that is a lot of points to make up (11) + a heck of a lot of teams to pass.
So I am doubtful.....

Manchester has played 59 games to our 57..it's a real long shot but w/ Bishop playing well and if he remains here, anything can happen..
We need a strong game from McKenna tonight in Hershey..

Ouch, that's going to be incredibly tough. Even if they win those two games in hand, seven points out is still a big gap and with so many teams to jump over to get to 8th, I'm doubtful too.
