This was as classic a performance as you can get from a Captain.

Geez, it's about time.

I mean, I asked for Captain America to step up and he stepped up.

The team is in crisis mode, falling closer and closer to 8th place (and worse) and he took matters into his own hands and personally beat down the team that was below us.

What's wrong with that?

I agree, Mutts. Don't put it past this team to lose this game in OT though

meh, even if they score 3, I haven't seen an inspired Zach since he knocked down Pronger and scored on that breakaway.

No I'm agreeing with you. Zach stepped up big time and I really think this could be a turning point after 4 straight tough losses that could have gone either way....if certain people finished their chances.

My answer now that the game is actually a win: no. Nothing that happens in the regular season matters in the end.

I said 3 points out of 4 will be nice after the Boston game and it is true. Great win.

Signature win maybe since there haven't been many easy ones...but turning point when this team was twelve over and fifteen over at one point?! No, the real turning point was the Ranger game right after the All-Star break, when the Devils were 'actually' in danger of missing the playoffs tied for the last spot, after the four-game losing streak going into the break. That started a string of our beating good teams and seperating ourselves from the pack.

Parise averaged a goal every 3 minutes lol.

Plus he had a 100% shooting.

Basically this...although it actually was that in inverse for the Caps since they were flying high off their recent three-game winning streak and dramatic comeback against the Isles, and they went from that to booing the **** out of the team even worse than we booed the Devils last year

And I missed the game, other than kaptain america being a stud, whats the good word? How'd everyone look? I saw Zubrus doing that spinroll thing after his goal too haha. Is Parise hurt hurt or just "hurt"?

Big difference between the past couple of games and tonight, we played a full 60 and back-checked with some authority

Keep it going against the Isles

Not at all hurt, he said he did the head shoton protocol and was able to return.
