Internet Sites Slow or Down?

Im just wondering if its just me, with Rogers in Ottawa Im having a lot of trouble surfing the internet right now, I have tried on 2 different computers but maybe its just my connection.

Hfboards = real slow

cibc.ca = not working

google.ca = slow

yahoo sports = not working

Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

Don't seem to bad on Rogers myself. You're 'exchange' could be having issues, or lots of people online.

Give them a call, sometimes they have an issue, sometimes they will unblock your intertubes.

It's probably just that a lot of people are online. My online browsing's been noticeably slower the past few days, even at non-peak hours.

If you know how to change the DNS settings inside your router, this is Google's DNS server:

8.8.8.8.

I'm also with Rogers in Ottawa.

Google has been fine for me for the most part, except that maps will not load at all.

Yahoo has been almost impossible to operate.

A handful of other sites I frequent have also been stuck in perpetual loading for me today.

Edit: ahh I see that Rogers is aware of the problem. Good.

Really annoying. Wish I knew how to muck around with Rogers' routers. Takes forever to do a simple google search and I can't even use photobucket right now.

And now everything is fine again...

Hmm this is odd, I am with Rogers too and my internet is just fine, full signal strength on my router actually.

Yahoo is usually the first site to give me problems and it's running smoothly.

Hope I am not jinxing things.
