I'm betting they're using him in a smaller role since he's still on their payroll. Something like a pro scout, consultant, etc..

Nice seeing Carlyle talking to players one-on-one with a smile.

I'm excited for this game.

It actually appears that he was well liked, despite reports he was the most hated coach in the NHL. JR went as far as saying that the players on the team would regret not playing harder for Wilson.

Though, you'd think we'd just won the cup with the way the media and bi-polar fans are ecstatic with the change.

Say what you want about the Canadiens, but I love the Bell Center's atmosphere. One of the loudest buildings in the league

They could just be lying to the media.

I've always loved going to games there. Although I think they amplify the crowd noise through the sound system as well.

Burke looks like such a badass with his tie haphazardly thrown around. Getting testy with Maclean.

So Kadri is a high risk player? Then what do you call MacArthur or most of the players on this team?

What is it with Andy Frost and his love of the fake interviews?
Andy: So Brian, these last two days must have been very difficult.
Burke on tape: These last two days have been very dificult.
x10
At least he gets the answers he wants, but it's hard to come up with a cheesier way to include the earlier interviews in the pregame show.

Never thought about what Burke just pointed out.

Lots of Ontario kids in the league with family around Toronto who want to play the best game of their life in front of their family.

Let's be honest.. This "internal trade deadline" trial balloon being floated by Burke is absurd.

I wonder who got the job of watching Leafs' practices and counting the offsides.

If we had another center to play with Kessel, I think Bozak would make more sense on that checking line instead of Steckel. Kulemin is the type of player that could thrive in that role IMO.

Interesting tidbit regarding the Lupul/Carlyle "controversy".
