Crabb wasn't on the clear day roster so cannot play for the Marlies in the playoffs.

That belongs to us, good sir!

Now try to lose against our $25M injury list (ok, includes Gomez...)!

Go Leafs! Let's start to turn it around. Prove to these people that you can do it!

Essentially, we need to go 12-5-1 to hit 90 pts.

It's going to be extremely difficult.

I can't remember being this excited for a game like this in a long time.
I've changed my stance on tank nation. The Leafs need to win and gain confidence under their new coach and start to play their hard-nosed style of hockey.

This team needs a boost in energy and to become responsible for their actions. I hope Carlyle gives them hell and makes them accountable for every shift.

This team needs to win.

anything is possible when there's no salary cap and your team outspends 90% of the league

I just hope that people's expectations for tonight are not too high. Carlyle had 0 time with team, keep that in mind.

I actually think that tonight's game is 100% on the players. If they really want it,they'll get it.

Will be an important game for us today. Need to come out firing on all cylinders and get the W..but if they lose and the Caps win tomorrow vs the Flyers, don't think they can make up 7 points in 17 games and leapfrog 3-4 teams.

Don't know why people would be upset at the prospect of Rosehill being called up when lots of people around here complained about a lack of toughness. If he was at least his role would serve a purpose unlike the likes of Lombardi and Crabb who attribute nothing to the team with no defined role. Nothing worse then a player on a team that doesn't have a defined role within the team and we've got a few of those as it stands.

With Carlyle, we can expect a defined checking line like Burns Zezel line, will be interesting if Grabo, Armstrong and Kulemin become this line. Connolly, Mac played well for parts of the season, perhaps with Frattin tonight.

4th line Lombardi, Rosehill, Brown.

Steckle's faceoff ability has not been really needed of late, perhaps he and Crabb are the odd men out. Moves from Wilson favs to Carlyle favs yet be seen.

I expect the players to come out swinging. If they don't it was never the coach to begin with, we'll see the players who really care and don't.

I'm not expecting a win but I want the team to play like they're going to win.
I can't wait for next season with Carlyle as head coach.

I think we'd have to do better than 12-5 simply because there are 5 teams competing for just one spot. It just seems so out of reach, but I could see us having at least a .500 record, something like 8-8-1.

I think we'll easily see RC's favs come into play by the third tonight. I could seriously see Connolly and Lombardi firmly cementing themselves in RC's inescapable dog house
