I honestly believe they already have this mentality. They need help, all of our bad contracts don't expire until the next offseason. An NHL ready pick would help tremendously. **** competing for ninth place next year.

Hopefully Carlyle realizes how important Gardiner is and doesn't reduce the ice time he was getting. The kid should be getting more ice time than Phaneuf IMO.

I'm all for tank nation and getting that high end talent.

But an epic surge and playoff birth would be more bad ass.

Then why does Mediocrity Nation care what Tank Nation thinks and vice versa? Either side are just being fans and expressing their preferences as to the way they want the rest of the season to play out. Should they express no interest at all?

There's the Habs GDT for people who want to cheer for them.

First change I want to see is Frattin get PP time it just boggles my mind that a player who has a lethal shot just as good and even a better one timer than Kessel not get PP time with a game plan to set him up to get his shot off.

Honestly folks has Frattin been set up at all while with the Leafs to get his shot off in the slot? This kid is a weapon that hasn't been used IMO hopefully the coaching change leads to Frattin being used more to get his shot off.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a Leafs team play tonight that is not coached by Ron Wilson. I hope to see something...anything...that's different out of the team.

What? I'm going to have A LOT of fun watching this game. The Chicago game was also one hell of a game for me. Its the expense of knowing that with every loss it gets us closer to drafting a #1 center. we'll be able to keep our assets and fix one o our glaring wholes.

I love the leafs but I hate how mediocre the team has been for the past few years.

We could get the mighty Prince of Wales Trophy or the esteemed Clarence Campbell Bowl as consolation then!

Then we have a shiny elite prospect that most will annoint the next Gretzky.
