I can't help it - old school. But I'm around here less so you youngsters can have your big ****ing moment.
You get used to losing, it gets easier, so be careful! I've NEVER liked losing - at anything.
I actually wanted them to win up to not too long ago. I went to the Habs/Devils game and the Habs were a complete no show in that game and they played like a team that wanted to lose. So at this point, I just don't see what good would come out of winning more games except for these guys' honor which they seem to have lost along the way anyway.
The same Caps who are outside of a playoff position this year? The same Caps we beat in the first round back in 2010? The same Caps who can't win in the playoffs? Those Caps?
We'll be better than the Caps!!!
No...
the Caps with 1st overall Alex Ovechkin, 4th overall Nicklas Backstrom and 5th overall Karl Alzner...
I want Yak or Grigo. I wish we lose every single game until the end of the season. Like I did with the Colts, my favourite NFL team (with the Raiders). If we luck out and win the lottery, we get an instant shoe in Yakupov who I'd play with Plekanec right away (finally, a winger for Pleks...).
It is hard for me to cheer against them. I always have a momentary lapse in judgment and celebrate when the Habs score. I then sit back down and question why I just celebrated that goal. Winning is not a good thing, I keep having to remind myself of that

This happen to anyone else?
lets hope the Org is teaching that to our young call-ups too
Winning is too ingrained in my long relation with the Habs. I can't help it, I hate it when they lose, force of habit. Just don't let the Leafs get below us. We're solidly in the top 5, let's stay there.
The players, proud athletes, want first and above all to taste the victory.
Obviously, the Habs won't finish bottom-two, and the rest of the 1st round prospects - let's say from 3rd to 15th ranked player - have as much chance as the next guy to succeed or fail at NHL level.
I want the Habs to get at least 82 points and play .500 hockey this year. Most of their stats are pointing to a team that is .500 good (or bad...)
i couldn't choose, i try to see the upside of every situation right now. When we score i cheer and then if we lose i don't mind (it still kinda hurts though) and try to imagine Yakupov or Grigo or Galchenyuk or Forsberg in a habs jersey
Not all franchise players are picked in the top 5.
Historically the top 5 has countless busts.
Yet most top players in the league are top 5 draft pick: Crosby, Malkin, Toews, Kane, The Sedins, Kovalchuk, Tavares, Spezza, Kessel. So by drafting very high you increase you chance a whole lot
