Said it before, say it again...Bailey is a wing at this point. He's played much better there.
Also, Cizikas is a damn good hockey player. I think he's got 2nd line potential. People seem to cap his ceiling at 3rd line, but he's smart and has very nice hands.
7 points out with half the conference to jump...assuming those other teams lose.
You're right, my opinion means nothing to them. But, considering that the ENTIRE month of February was meaningful (with an easier schedule to boot) and they collectively **** the bed in plenty of games where they needed to persevere...the season is over. Chalk it up to inexperience, to lack of an actual team, to shoddy coaching, etc. The fact of the matter is they will not make the playoffs because they lost too much ground over the past month.
Hold onto the hope, if you'd like. I won't be surprised when Bill Daly holds our card up somewhere within the top-5 draft selections.
A lot of it is inexperience and a lot of it is lack of talent. Im still happy to see the team play games that are meaningful to them and not just waiting for the season to end.

Also, Cizikas is a damn good properly developed hockey player. I think he's got 2nd line potential. People seem to cap his ceiling at 3rd line, but he's smart and has very nice hands.
Fixed
I've liked Czikas game. I'd like them to send him back so he can play in the playoffs. But he definitely looks like he's ready for this level.
how did bailey play? i've seen him on the scoresheet the last few games, but haven't been able to watch any of them. I've thought for a while now that he could breakout, is he?
I had to watch the final 5 minutes just now. Funny turn of events - refs who were giving calls to Boston totally screwed the Bruins with that non-icing that really was an icing. The slashing penalties before were total gifts, one being a complete fabrication. Nice game winner to Tavares though.
Bailey again with a horrible play, then gets one back (by accident). Strong play out of PAP, out of Moulson of all people, and Tavares or course, but this game belonged to one guy - Nabster - who played over his head.
I'm still sticking to 300, but it is nice to see them win one against a powerhouse.
Take it and move on. I was concerned they'd tie it and lose it, getting the losers point. I much prefer a win.
amazing, you put out your good players to defend a lead when they have the goalie pulled & what a shocker, the good players can actually get to the puck & get it out. amazing philosophy Fred Flintstone.
I know, really. It must have BEEN A MISTAKE! HaHaHaHa!!!!1!!
One little thing from the game. I sat up in a section filled with people from Quebec wearing Nordiques jerseys - maybe 30-40 people. Talked to one of them and told me they drove 6 hours for the game. Man, they want a team really bad and they were cheering for Boston. I told them they deserve a team in Quebec City, but that they are not getting my Isles and he laughed. I was going to glare at him and scare him a bit, but that whole group was really nice. If Phoenix moves there, they'll be well supported.
