as soon as Bailey got away from Rolston he starts to produce. I ****ing hate Rolston
This
I hate how our coaching staff always makes the right decision WAY too late into the season. What seem like obvious decisions to us fans is like ****ing rocket science to the coaching staff. We need a new coach in the worst way, someone who will hold players accountable and in turn get the most out of the players we have.
That is the problem with having only one defenseman who is big... Staois aside... They bang the crap out of Hamonic and try to wear him down or injure him out. It is a problem with the entire roster.
Did Butch just say that Islander Fans need to move the puck more quickly?
Damn you NYI fans and your slow foot speed.
Hey, I am trying as hard as I can. I programmed a fan to turn once every time Butch says a homer coment, which blows on the puck making it move faster. The damn thing is turning so fast i have to pour water on it or it would 'splode.

I like the way Cizikas comes back to get passes from the defensemen. I know it's part of the job of being a center...but some guys aren't that good at it.
On the other hand that Moulson turnover was about as bad as it gets.
Anyone watching this behind the scenes segment on the Sound Tigers? My god, Thompson? Now THAT is a real coach. I cannot imagine Capuano doing the things that I just saw that guy do in that short video. Have we seen any behind the scenes stuff of Cappy? No, but just watch the guy on the bench. He constantly has his hands in his pockets, the same facial expression, and I can't ever recall a time that he showed passion on the bench. Then look at a coach like John Tortorella and you can see why the Rangers are having success and we aren't. And by success I don't mean a 1 seed like them, obviously we can't bring in the same amount of talent as them due to finances, but I mean at least MAKING the playoffs which I think this group is certainly capable of if a coach can maximize the talents and efforts of the players on our roster.
Its glaringly apparent, against good physical teams our 1st line is easily controlled. ALSO STICK PENALTY'S common from soft players and no benching ever happens, physical penalty's send a message. All part of why the islanders need toughness, and have a ways to go before a playoff run, mentality of play!
