I'm not really too mad about the loss, since it probably would have ended in a shootout loss anyway, but there really wasn't much more Sutter could have done there. Garon's well out of his crease, Sutter's being pushed by Stamkos, and he has to leap to try and avoid contact. And he still gets called despite the obvious effort.
But as soon as it was announced Tim Peel was officiating, we knew he'd find a way to screw us over.
Peel screws everybody. I don't know how his incompetence can be allowed in this league. He's screwed us before, and now screws you guys.
I'm absolutely furious over that call, but with this likely being the final nail in our coffin, I'd like to say I really hope you guys win the division.
Amazing, gutty win. Had to have these two points and Teddy and Stammer decided to just go out there and take them.
Gritty effort by the new guys and call-ups. Clark tried his best to give the game away but our stars wouldn't let it happen.
If you had told me a month ago that we'd be this close and would be pushing for the playoffs I would have told you that you were crazy. This next month is going to leave me with no finger nails.
Peel's idiocy aside, good comeback by your boys tonight - here's hoping y'all get to see some playoff hockey in TB.
Thanks for the positive backing. I think we can all agree on our disdain for the Caps, Cats and Peel. Hopefully if you do tank, you get a good pick outta it, and we both can battle for the division lead in the future!

Good luck.
I honestly tend to agree. He could have done more to stop but at least he made a last ditch effort at the end to not completely plow Garon. That said, we needed to take advantage on the PP and did. Over the course of the season we've been hosed on several questionable calls- nice to have one come our way for once.
It's a race!! I don't think Sutter did anything to not run Garon, and I thought Stammer was trying to keep him off of Garon, not push him into him. Call me a homer. I do agree that officiating was/is awful. Every time there was a bad call, I thought Peel looked like he knew he blew it. He looked like the grinch or something. Good fight Bolts!!
Just saw the highlights and caught the 1st period, but missed the 2nd and 3rd periods. How did Aulie look tonight?
Like last night. Still a little lost. I like that he's physical with people around the crease and he made a few nice outlet passes, but it's probably going to take him some time. He's got to adjust to everything that is new here while still working on becoming an NHL player. And that's fine. He's here for the future, not to make an immediate impact now for our playoff hunt.

Probably shouldn't have been a penalty for Sutter but he definitely could have done more to avoid the leaping hit he ended up doing. looked like that's what he wanted to accomplish.

Thanks for the reply Days! I definitely hope Aulie's in SFY's plans for the future, as he could be a key piece in our top 4 for years to come. He's young and will definitely take some time to get used to the system; I just wanted an update on his progression after tonight. Not disappointed at all that he hasn't looked comfortable/transitioned into the system yet.
